Phone service.Guy was rude and abrupt, not helpful. Put me on hold for 10-15mins then I hung up. Did not get my insurance quote sent through even though he had all of my details and was in 'final stages' of quote when he put me on hold

Probably the worst insurance provider I've had to work with as a service provider. Unpaid invoices that need following up, inconsistent information when talking to case managers, and overall poor communication put this insurer last on my list to work with. I strongly encourage employers, customers and service providers to look elsewhere for their insurance needs.

I have been with GIO for over 15 years and had some good experiences but this weekend my sons bike was stolen from him while he was riding home and they won’t cover it because the bike wasn’t at home when it happened. Not impressed and I will be looking elsewhere for insurance tonight.

Worst experiance of my life, Workers comp claim almost 2 years, approx 9 or 10 case managers, treatments denied, treatments out of order, waiting months for reimburstments, waiting months for replies to emails, treating stakeholders struggle to get payed, I got lawyers involved and they are struggling to get anywhere with GIO. I can not express this enough, DO NOT USE GIO FOR ANYTHING!

After lodging the paperwork and thinking we had been covered for out companies workers comp policy for the past year this year when we contacted them to renew for 2023 they tell us that this policy was never renewed so thankfully none of our employees hurt themselves. Do not recommend and will be looking elsewhere.

Sending many emails and recalling them. then cancelling my policy for no reason...I did send them all the file they needed in the emails. but they told me they needed something else which was not in the correspondence. be very carful as dealing with them may cost you and your business lot of money

Utterly disgraceful2 months and still waiting, having to constantly chase them with calls and call wait times of 30+ minutes every time.Even worse, their valuer is trying to under value the car by over 50% what we paid less than 6 months ago; equivalent cars now 10k more then we paid, so clearly they don’t like that - it’s insured at market value, so replacement price is market value!

Four phone calls and they still demand my 80 year old father-in-law reply to his emails or they won’t talk to him and fix his home. Disgusting and unethical company, you will be getting a formal complaint and an ombudsman complaint at these discriminatory practices against the elderly.
