Petstock Marsden Park

First and definitely my last time Grooming experience at pet stock Marsden park - the lady is extremely rude. We walked in at 12:47 pm for a 12:30 pm appointment today. The groomer at the centre opened the door at 12:51 pm and told me I was late by 25 to 30 mins and that this time she would allow it. But next time she would cancel the appointment!! I didn’t realise I was in school for God’s sake!! There was just 1 pup whom she was already grooming. No other pups apart from my pup. So not that huge queue !!! If you are particular about timing1. You cannot exaggerate by even a min when letting the customer know how late they are. Genuinely there is difference between a customer being 17 mins late to 30 mins!!2. If my lateness was indeed unacceptable to your “very busy” day you could very well have cancelled my appointment rather than telling off like a teacher with threatening warningI do understand I was late. But that doesn’t warrant your rude responses and threatening to cancel my appointment “next time” if this happens.Quoting price - whilst booking the appointment I did clearly mention the pup’s age being 6 months. Even well trained, adult dogs would feel anxious dropping off at new groomers.. price bracket suddenly jumped from $120 to $160 depending on puppy’s best behaviour.. honestly!! Charge me another $20 if he did cause excessive time.. but the reason for price jump provided were so silly!! If puppy moves around whilst nail trimming, if puppy chews on blow dryer wire… I would definitely be concerned if you have live wiring exposed for puppy to bite …Needless to say - just didn’t feel right leaving my pup.. he wasn’t at ease. Barked the few mins that we were there. We walked right off.Pup is a pet barn boy.. hasn’t had a single complaint at pet barn Marsden park centre every time we have dropped him off there.. due to appointment unavailability I visited your place. But definitely not worth the abuse..Definitely recommend management to provide customer management training to grooming staff.

There are two staffs when i visited. The manager who was busy stacking things, doesn't care about the customers. The other one, very willing to help but lack of knowledge on what he must do. It can be a better experience if they are well trained and more kind

Genuine passion for animals. I took my Border Collie in for a groom, his first experience so you can image his anxious level as well as ours. Myral, the groomer was amazing, really calm and patient with both Zach our Collie and us. She got Alex the trainer to consult during the process, so that we where not stressing Zach and that he would feel more relaxed. Truly grateful for the time and patience Myral and looking forward to our next visit.

(who I think was) the store manager was so knowledgeable and friendly. I love it when someone is totally competent in their job.He helped us find the right puppy food for our pregnant GSD and gave us more advice. Thanks guy!

Love how they are spacious, and has everything labelled or with signs for each animal including horses. They were very understanding when we tried to adopt a pet, and returned it when it did not work out. We got our refund straight away, and the staff has been in contact throughout the process.

Great pet shop for all pets - dogs, cats, fish and moreThey have a great range of products for all budgets - although overall I find them a bit expensive compared to the others.Pets are welcome to aswell (must be on leash). The staff are helpful and friendly.

Range of different pet food options but could use more toys and interactive things for cats and dogs. We weren't greeted or offered help while in store.

My boy Chester (border collie) had a shave/full groom today from Maral sorry if I spell your name wrong hun. She was absolutely amazing with him. I highly recommend. She treated my dog like he was her own and took her time with him and I am just so happy. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much Maral

Gary and his team are always so welcoming. Not overly priced and always a wonderful experience everytime we shop their. We've taken our puppy to their puppy school and gained so much knowledge from Taylor and Gary, they've addressed all our concerns regarding our pups behaviour and training. Couldn't imagine shopping anywhere else.
