Well worth a look. Guided tours would be an advantage (if there was it wasn’t offered) and give the displays a good dusting.Educate the front desk staff what a veterans pension card is as both of them didn’t know.Presented mine and at first it was refused as they said it wasn’t a pension card.After showing them the smaller writing on the back (Vet affairs) was accepted

Darwin Military Museum
There are so many information and education exhibits related to the involvement of Australia in various wars around the war and in defence during WW2. We enjoyed both the internal and external exhibits of military vehicles and equipment. I am a bit concern that conservation of the items may need to be more frequent.

Not enough people know about Australia’s history specifically 1942 Feb 19th. This museum beautifully presents this time in history whilst also recognising Darwin’s significance in other War stories. Absolutely worth the visit.

This is such an emotional spot. Makes you feel very privileged to live in the beautiful country we have. The area outside in the park is also great to walk around just wish we had of been able to read the signs they need to be re done

Definitely a worthwhile trip when you're visiting Darwin. Feels surreal that this happened on home turf. Love how everything is preserved but not restored.
