Great day out!!!! Train ride was so easy. Booked online very easily, turned up with 15 mins to spare, boarded and that’s it. Staff were lovely. Train was beautiful and authentic. Been on a few times now and will be back again.

Toot toot!What a lovely time we had. The volunteers are so lovely, and made the experience even more great.My only complaint is I wish the train ride went longer.

This is a delightful railway that runs from Moorooduc to Mornington. While it's not known the same way as Puffing Billy it's definitely worth a visit. The staff and engine crew are fantastic as is the run through the rolling hills of the area. The railway needs all the support it can get. So help them out bey having a great day at to he Mornington Railway!

Went with my whole family for my son's 5th Birthday and absolutely loved it. Everyone had a fantastic time with the total ride taking approximately 50 minutes leaving from Moorooduc to Mornington, swapped the train engine from front to back and then returning to Moorooduc Station. Very good value for money at $55 for the family including two adults and two children

The k 163 steam train is absolutely beautiful, it has been restored and kept in such a good condition, the experience is like no other, the smell of the old carriages and the comfort is a really nice experience, there is no way of describing just how awesome the train horn is, before you board you get your tickets hole punched just like they did 100 years ago. The whole experience was exceptional. The history behind the carriages and the bridge was fascinating. And the staff are so knowledgeable, every question asked they answered with greight enthusiasm and understanding of the history.

What a great way to spend a Sunday morning riding the steam train, tho a short trip worth the money. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. We had a sausage in bread with onions yummy. I'd recommend it a great family day out.

Great experience and well priced. Enjoyed our trip from Moorooduc to Mornington on the 100 year old carriage pulled by a K class steam engine, then a free courtesy bus into town. Wandered around town for a little while, caught the courtesy bus back to Mornington station and then enjoyed our return trip. Thoroughly great day. Volunteers are all friendly and you are welcome onto the loco at Moorooduc station. Will do this again.

Kids will love this. Historical train, nicely maintained. The ride one way is ~40 minutes. Nice way to go back in time.
