Big House Little House have designed 2 homes for me now. Chris is pragmatic and easy to talk to but produces exceptional work that is truly next level. He understands design and can take an open brief and work it into something really spectacular. His rates are highly competitive given the standard of work. BHLH is always my first choice.

My husband and I engaged BHLH to design our renovation after living in our house for 4 years...we thought we had gone through all of the possible iterations but initial drawings came back with great options we would have never considered! We first saw Chris's work from Big House Little House on instagram and was instantly impressed with his fresh and unique designs.We are now nearing the completion of our extension and couldn't recommend Chris highly enough. We engaged Chris to design our new house having discovered him through personal recommendations and linking properties we admired locally to his designs. The process was very collaborative and transparent and we had trust in Chris's ability to deliver from the outset. Chris had some great designs to start with that fitted our brief and land size and with some tweaking and great ideas from Chris we arrived at an awesome and practical design. We've now been living in the finished product for a year and love it - looks great, practical and low maintenance living that ticks all boxes! I would strongly recommend Chris to anyone looking to build.
