Leafe Elite Swim School

My boys came here from a swim school where they were lucky to get 10 minutes of swimming in their half hour session and still no real skills other than to doggy paddle to the side. Now 1 hour a week with Leafe Elite Swim School and during our first year here my 4 and 7 year old are doing freestyle and backstroke laps continuously. Feeling relief that they are now confident and are on the way to being strong swimmers !

Swim teachers definitely know their stuff but I dislike the fact that it operates as cash only, you sign off in a book for what you paid and then the actual receipt is only for your “swim out bond” (2x 30 min lessons) not the actual amount you paid. We also experienced an overnight change in rules where one communication said in writing everyone would receive a credit due to closure and then upon return to lessons there was a “change of mind” and credit was not given. I’m a believer that you must stick to your rules and any changes must be communicated and impact the future only. I think my kids learnt a lot but due to the way the business is run I would not recommend.

Gary and Chris are excellent swim coaches and really care about the kids they teach.

Our girls have come a long way in less than a year, Kristin won swimmer of the month in Aug and Savanna has improved out of sight since going to Gary & Chris ( Leafe Elite). We have seen a great improvement since leaving our other Swim School.

We had a very poor experience with this school when they cancelled the classes during lockdown and refused to either refund or carry them forward to the following term. This was also the experience of other families that have also left the school. There are way better swim schools out there that won't treat their customers so poorly

Leafe Elite Swim School is an awesome swimming school. My 3 girls (aged from 3 to 5) love it and they can't wait to go there every Saturday!Gary and Chris to a really great job at teaching kids how to properly swim and they do it in a nice and professional manner. Their passion for the sport and their love of the children is obvious. The kids get to work hard but they clearly enjoy it and the smile of their face says it all.The discrediting comments from other users are frustrating and completely out of place. I strongly encourage you to come and check out the school and make up your own mind about it. Your kids will thank you for it!

Leafe Elite is an excellent swim school. My 3 kids have been with Gary and Chris for almost three years now and they really enjoy it! Our original intent was so that our kids wouldn't drown in the pool but with Gary's and Chris' guidance they are now winning all their swimming events. We've kept up the lessons because it helps them with their nippers, their soccer and general health & fitness.With Gary's lessons you really get value for money because at the other swim schools I would only get about 11 minutes out of the half hour where my kids were actually learning. With Gary they are swimming for the entire hour and are improving with every single lesson. If you want your kids to learn to swim the proper way and with the correct technique then I highly recommend you try Leafe Elite and judge for yourself.

HiHi hear you Chris Foley.We have had a similar experience with this awful swim school.My boys had been taken lessons there for almost a year with no progression in their development at all. Funny that both boys were at the same swimming level throughout their lessons given that one had previous lessons elsewhere.Since starting at a new school both my boys have progressed to swimming to a level that has them swimming with no bubble.Also, a friend of ours who also brought his girls to learn to swim with Gary ended up with a traumatized daughter who refused to take swimming lessons because of the cruel treatment from Gary. Gary's method of training was to splash water repeatedly in the girls face to encourage her to learn. Due to this the father of the girls lost 4 weeks payment x 2 (2 weeks lessons & 2 weeks bond each girl!).Their rules are a joke. Clear to see they are just after your money and not concerned about actually teaching the kids to swim! A bond to my knowledge is to secure something that then goes towards final payment not for you to keep as a financial gain to assist with finding a new student when there is a vacancy.We decided to terminate the boys lessons and felt that due to the fact they weren't actually learning to swim - which is what I was paying for - that the bond" would suffice as payment for the due lessons.We to were sent to debt collectors.... what a joke. But it gets better
