Tea & Niceties
Such a gorgeous tea house. Every decor detail was delightful as was the high tea. They served up a beautiful Gluten Free high tea option booked the day of with excellent gluten free scones which are also available as a Devonshire tea option in lieu of the full high tea. Definitely recommend the traditional high tea though. Wonderful array of Petit Fours. Be sure to arrive hungry!

Pretty disappointed when we came to eat here. The ordering service was less than ideal, the young gentleman was struggling to find where menu items were, this is fine he must’ve been a trainee. From here we ended up waiting 40 minutes for one meal! As you can see in the photo it wasn’t very busy. There were about 5 seated tables. There were also 6 front counter staff!I then watched as our barramundi made its way around the whole “restaurant” as they had no idea where the food was going. We saw this happen with multiple meals! The food is decent but the customer service is off.A place like this would benefit from ordering off a QR code with set table numbers to eliminate the need for a staff person taking orders and can spend their time perhaps getting trained in the kitchen to speed up the service.

We had the most delicious devonshire tea with scones to die for and so many different teas to choose from. The customer service from April was outstanding, thank you April. Nothing was too much trouble. What a lovely surprise to receive two cupcakes to celebrate my birthday. Compliments to the chef who made the best scones we have ever eaten. We had a wonderful time and most definitely will be back.

I’ve been there many times in the past and it was wonderful, but this time I found it has gone downhill a little. Whether it was because they were too busy but the quality wasn’t the same. Still great atmosphere.

Came here as part of a hens weekend. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish - the table settings were beautiful, and the atmosphere is just what we were looking for from a high tea. The staff were very friendly and polite, as well as discreet. The food was excellent (and plentiful - we ended up taking a lot home!) and the gluten free option was just as good as the regular. The range of teas meant there was something for everyone, and the little sugar cubes with a flower on the top were the icing on the cake. The perfect finishing touch was the adorable gift bags they gave away for Mothers Day.I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone.

It has taken me some time to find the right words for not only the gorgeous venue that is Tea and Niceties but the food and the incredible staff as well. The grounds are immaculate, with many nooks to escape to for a romantic moment. The amazing entrance to this gorgeous place is simply breath taking! The food is fantastic! Everything we ordered was fresh, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! There is a choice for everyone! We had a few dietary requirements and the staff made sure everyone had a tasty meal! The staff …. What can I say, Sandy and her team really went above and beyond all m expectations? We were faced with weather challenges on the day and Sandy took the time to make sure everything was just right for us! Nothing we asked was too much! We gave her a few vague ideas and she turned them into a fairy tale, fairy god mother has nothing on this lady! She was there for us through every step of our planning, checking in to make sure we had thought of all the fine details that made out day so spectacular! We were made feel like part of the family which made the day so much more relaxed and special. If you’re looking at this venue for any special event, I can assure you , you will not be disappointed , these guys know how to plan a perfect celebration for you !!

Review is based on the high tea. It was absolutely perfect. The right mix of hot savouries, to sandwiches, to scones, to sweets. The tea selection is outstanding, and delicious (I bought some to take home). Service was excellent. And even the Gluten Free, Dairy Free options were delicious (those poor people who have been served rock solid GF scones in the past, know how rare this is!).

This place was so lovely! I booked a Celebration Tea for my 23rd birthday with 5 people, and I had such a wonderful time thanks to Deb & her team. The food was insane! We ate so many cakes, pastries, scones & sandwiches, and every time we chose something off the platter it was superb. The service was fantastic here, I called Deb half an hour before my booking & she was able to add another person with no problems at all - super accomodating. The beautiful young girl who was serving us as well (I wish I had gotten her name!) was so friendly & attentive, she really made the experience great. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars was due to the tea not being hot. I was so excited to try all the teas, and the flavours were amazing - I just wish they would have been hot. They all seemed to come out lukewarm for everyone in my party, which I was a little disappointed by. There was also so many flies! I know this cannot be controlled, but it was a little gross to see them land all over the food we were so excited to eat.All in all though, this place is beautiful & I really enjoyed my experience here. Thank you Tea & Niceties!

The most welcoming environment, from the beautiful, attentive and helpful staff to the amazing chef in the kitchen a big thankyou for such a wonderful experience. Enjoying a dirty chai and scone and then devouring a beef burger. A peaceful oasis in which I now have to go home to burn all that delicious food off. I'll be back for sure!
