Smart Energy

We wanted to have solar for a while. They are a very good choice, because they have a superior after sales customer care. When there was an issue or a follow up question, we alwas got someone to come back to us and solve it as fast as possible. After 4 months they called us and asked if everything is ok and if we have questions. Smart Energy was a good choice. No regrets.

The service from the first call to installation and post service has been wonderful. Ben sold me on the system and then Alexandra was brilliant in coordinating the best plan for my home. The local installer team were really great, professional and tidied up once done.. I recommend Smart Energy to anyone.

Edit: Smart Energy contacted me promptly, and are in the process of resolving my issue. Credit where credit is due, I feel they have listened and are taking action.My solar battery stopped working. Contacted Smart Energy and Redback Technologies. After a month of not working it's still not fixed. I'm paying $17,000 for something that is not even working. Realise I'm waiting on the installer (who has not contacted me). Very very disappointed. Have missed 1 month of summer sun charging my battery.

Smart energy have been fantastic to deal with from the beginning. I did not want a cheap option that had no after sales service and Smart energy provided great sales support and met all my needs. The were prompt and provided great advice on product choice.I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in getting solar.

Great fast installation with very professional staff that go the extra mile to help explain the system. Very helpful and would recommend these guys if you are looking at having solar installed. After having another system installed 7 years ago and having it breakdown just out of warranty, the price to have it repaired was the price of one of the cheap small systems, so we opted for a larger higher quality system which is backed by a larger warranty. The system we purchased will pay for itself in no time at all. Thanks again.

The service is great with 5 stars from office staff to salesman to installer and after serving to follow up with satisfaction. The quality is definitely better than our old system I guessed it must install with cheaper materials from previous owner of my house. However, the price is higher than other installers with the same brand panels and brand inverter as I got a lot of advertisements in Facebook from different companies which they showed how much the system installed with specific inverter and panels. I was not sure it is 100% satisfaction so I gave 4 stars. 1 missing star may for my double thought. As I did not get any other quotes from other companies prior to my contract of installation.

Steer clear. Unreliable advice and will not stop calling you once you give them your details. I had my roof looked at by two energy companies (including Smart Energy) and was told by the other that the large eucalypt trees on the nature strip would cast way too much shade to be worthwhile installing panels. Smart energy told me the opposite. In the end I decided not to go with solar. It’s been about 16 months of me telling Smart Energy I’m not interested and them calling me to try and sell me panels. So frustrating!!

Some guy came knocking on my door around 4oclock in the afternoon trying to get me to book a meeting with him and I said I wasn’t interested because I didn’t pay the electricity and that my wife handles all the bills. He then said he would come back once she was home, I said “NO” as she is heavily pregnant and when she gets home she will need to sleep. He then persisted that he wanted to speak with her so asked if he could have her number. I immediately think “Creep!”So I give him mine and tell him,she will be home in an hour so if he wants to call me then ring my number and we can talk together. I pop out and sure enough he’s at my house,knocking on my door 6:00pm at night creeping her out lying saying “your husband told me to come see you” after I told him many times not to come knocking again but to give us a call. He ignored my request to not return to my property and came back knocking anyway. Over stepping the boundaries here and causing upset at our home as wife is very pregnant and exhausted. She was also afraid being home alone with such an odd guy at our door. Disgusting behaviour!

We have recently had solar installations by Smart Energy, our experience was excellent. Jonathan was awesome and explained everything with expertise. It was quick and easy, the boys that installed were fast and reliable. Lovely follow up phone calls add to the pleasure of dealing with Smart Solar.We are so Happy now we are on the grid. Thanks Guys
