I’ve been in this industry since 2004 and sent students to both Australia and New Zealand in partnership with SEANZ. Both the enrollment process, communication but most importantly the support and great care the staff in both countries are providing our students is outstanding. I wish more organizations around the world could operate the programs with the same high standards. We are very much looking forward to seeing the next group travel to their carefully vetted host families and selected schools.

We have hosted students since 2000 and have been with this organisation since 2009. It has been an overwhelmingly positive experience, we are supported every step of the way and felt able to contact the organisation and their representatives at any time. I have no hesitation in using this company for our upcoming 17th student and no doubt many more to come. They have the thanks of myself and my family for everything they do, have done and no doubt will do for us.

My family have hosted with Student Exchange Australia New Zealand for a few years now. We've had many students come into our family and we still talk too them today. The support provided from everyone at head office is horrible and they lack good communication, the local coordinator is amazing. I did make this a positive post over a year ago but since COVID the only positive in this are the local coordinators and the hosting coordinator (Sandra).

Our family have been hosting exchange students from Japan through Student Exchange Australia New Zealand Ltd for many years. Most of our students have been long stay ( 10 months), but there have been a small number of short stay,too.All have been wonderful experiences , that have enriched our lives in many ways. They have become long-term friendships, that have extended far beyond their stay in Australia.We are in touch with many of them on a regular basis.We have caught up with many of the students, and their families during visits to Japan.. Some students have also returned to visit us when they have completed University. These will become lifelong friendships with people that we would never have known, were it not be for our hosting experiences.We feel that we now have a large extended family.The success of the program, in our view, has been made possible by the dedicated and helpful staff of the organisation.Ana Maria and Gordon Foy.We highly recommend Student Exchange Australia New Zealand Ltd , and the Host Family adventure.

Thank you Student Exchange Australia New Zealand! I made many amazing friendships and bonds that I'll keep for life. Being an exchange student is a surreal experience, I traveled half way across the world where the unfamiliar became my new home, strangers became family and I was transformed into seeing a new perspective on life. My exchange has given me so much more confidence and hunger for life and travel. I would definitely recommend an exchange to anyone who is thinking about studying abroad. It was just an amazing opportunity.

I am so happy I chose Student Exchange Australia New Zealand to go on exchange with. The company was professional and really helped me get my application in on time despite some personal issues that were holding me up. My exchange changed my life more than I could've imagined ever. My host family are now like a second family and I have found friends that I will have for the rest of my life. I highly recommend Student Exchange, they are awesome.

Exchange was a life changing experience for me and it allowed me to experience things that I never thought possible. I got to play American football and its so completely different to rugby as well as learn that America has a very different culture to our own. Their traditions are pretty cool, such as Thanksgiving and going to choose the Christmas tree together and the food was not what I expected. I had to learn to open up to my new family and they have now become great friends who want to come visit us next year. I gained so much from my exchange and its been one of the best experiences I have ever had. Thanks Student Exchange Australia New Zealand for this great opportunity and for your professionalism.

this company is extremely unprofessional and severely lacks communication. i was always meant to be on exchange in new zealand right now but i haven’t heard from them in 3 months after they took my deposit. i am extremely unhappy and unsatisfied with this company and do not recommend it to anybody. if you actually want to go on exchange, do not use this company.

Do not use this agency!Our daughter went on an exchange with them in Japan.The exchange students did not do anything but go to school 6 days a week (half days on Saturdays). The school complaint to the organization that the exchange students were lazy and ungrateful (my daughter is a top class student here in Australia). Whenever the exchange students tried to voice a concern (no feedback from teachers in class, no support, efforts by organization to isolate the exchange students), the organization would tell them that they were ungrateful. They did not listen to the exchange students and asked things of them that the authorities (teachers did not do themselves). The answer to the exchange students saying the workload was a bit much and that they were exhausted was to give them more tutoring services after school. Other parents and myself told the organization that we weren't worried about how well our children would speak Japanese upon return, we wanted them to have a positive experience. One exchange student got assaulted during their stay and no emotional support was provided. When I mentioned that to the exchange organization, they said our children should have spoken up if they needed emotional support.Once our children decided to come home earlier because the experience was too traumatic, the organization then said that they would provide tutoring during school hours.After my child returned home early, I requested an itemised bill from the organization to look at possible partial refunds. The organization refused to provide an itemised bill and referred me to a pie chart on their website. I had to involve Fair Trade who is now working on my behalf.All in all a horrible experience. The organization seems to only be interested to get your money, the wellbeing of the students is not guaranteed nor do they take concerns seriously.
