Huntlee Dog Park

It's so disappointing that there is no water tap inside the fence for dogs.

It’s a beautiful fenced park…construction debris has been removed, water for dogs is available in the cleverly designed fountains nearby. Will only be improved by more dogs! My puppy was very lonely…

Came out here for the first time today and was pretty disappointed with what I saw. The dog park is full of rubbish left over from building the park next door. I’m not sure why they would put bags and bags of cement and dangerous items where dogs are.There was also no litter bags in the dog bag container, and there is no water there. No tap, no water bowls or water facilities at all.Also the entire front fence is made of pool fencing which is way too wide so my small dog escaped straight away so can’t be off leash and this is dangerous especially when there’s a park with hundreds of children and people picnicking. It is a requirement of a dog park to be a specific size fencing so the dogs can’t escape off leash . Not to mention there’s a major road right next door so if any dogs got through the fence its a real danger.So I spent the entire time with my dog on leash which was unpleasant for myself and unpleasant for my dog when she wanted to socialise with the other dogs and couldn’t.Boo-hoo Huntlee dog park very disappointing.

Acceptable (and the only fenced dog park in the area) but quite small and boring, and has an ant problem in one section. Overall it's 'fine'.
