Jenny is an incredibly patient and knowledgeable dog trainer with a clear love and appreciation for all animals. During training her skills and technical knowledge really shone through, and we could not be happier with the new insights we gained about our dog! After working with Jenny we now feel better equipped to provide the best environment for our pets.

Hello to all the dog lovers. Jennifer is the BEST dog trainer I have ever had. I have had 4 trainers over 10 years and by far Jennifer got the best results. They were long lasting and easy training techniques.You have to put the effort in but you will most definitely get outstanding results. I am happy to speak as a reference to anyone.Chico my dog was reactive and growling towards other dogs. The problem got worse and in the end it was the majority of dogs that he would growl at. It was just a matter of time before there would have been in a big dog fight. That's why I contacted Jennifer.Chico took about 3 training sessions and I put in the effort and now he is happy in any dogs company. Such a huge relief as now I can enjoy taking my dog out and it's far less stressful.Also, Jennifers prices are very reasonable. Far cheaper than other trainers.

Our adopted dog came with lots of anxiety and reactive issues. Training with Jenny has really helped us to understand the best way to help her adjust to her new life and show her the world in a way that doesn't overwhelm her. It's been nice to be sure about the right techniques to use to train our dog, and also helped us understand what to realistically expect from our dog. She's also gotten to a really comfortable place with Jenny which is amazing for a dog with trust issues - it is so nice to see! Jenny is super knowledgable and understanding which really takes the pressure off our stressful situation. Thank you Jenny!

Jenny the director of Problems on Paws was AMAZING! She is professional, highly skilled, kind and loving with our new puppy during the 1:1 lessons we had at our home. Our biggest triumph was Jenny's help to quickly toilet train our puppy and we pretty much nailed it in just 4 weeks! WOO HOO! Her suggestions were always helpful and she would make sure we knew what to do by practicing our new skills during the lesson then emailed us a class synopsis after each week to cement the topics covered (ahhh no note taking). We have learned to sit, stay, drop the ball, leave the food, come and now are mastering walking on a lead. I will continue to do the homework with our puppy Honey and I will definitely get Jenny back to help when we are ready to learn bigger and better things!

Jenny was very thorough and structured. she sat down and discussed our concerns with our dog and was able to formulate a series of training plans for us to go through. Highly reccomended!update:Through our time with Jenny she helped us understand our dogs needs and means of communication.we feel well equipped after she spent the time teaching us how to teach our dog.with her help our dog has grown from wild and misunderstood, to a goofy but mild mannered Malamute. biggest reccomend.

Jenny has been fantastic in helping us deal with our puppy's separation anxiety. She is very knowledgeable and clear in her explaining of the steps we need to take. Jenny has given us detailed training plans and met with us via Zoom to make sure we know what to do. She is willing to adjust the plan according to the needs for our puppy. Would definitely recommend people using Problems on Paws to help with training needs they have for their puppies and dogs.

Totally recommend Jenny as a dog trainer! We adopted a 5-8 year old rescue dog with a history of abuse who had a really tough time trusting strangers (and fair enough!). Jenny gave us easy actionable exercises to help him build his confidence using positive reinforcement. She helped us make a good plan for when we meet people and strategies to help us and him be able to manage situations e.g. when people come over. The difference since we started has been night and day! He has become so much better with people and not being too fearful and anxious. We have also become much better at understanding how he is feeling and how best to manage him in any scenario. This has given us a lot more confidence too! Jenny is very generous with her time and very thoughtful. She writes these very detailed post class documents to help us review what we went through and gave us really helpful handouts about exercises we went through. I recommend her highly to anyone wanting to build a better bond with their dog! ❤

Jenny's work with our dog and knowledge she has shared has been invaluable. We now have a dog who is much calmer around the kitchen and dinner table when we are cooking and eating rather than jumping up, saving us lots of stress!
