Australia Post - Queanbeyan Post Shop

If I could give minus star, I would! Post office staff are ok. But for some reason, the postman NEVER delivered any packages to my place. I was home all day! I’m always home! They don’t knock, they don’t call, no red note left, NOTHING. they just magically decide to take ur packages back to the post office, EVERY SINGLE TIME! Lazy is a nice word for whoever that person is.

Would rate 0 if I could.Every time I get a parcel delivery they don't even attempt to deliver, no knock on door. Just a notification to pick up from the office, which I am unable to due to my working hours. You can't get it redelivered, and they wouldn't let my partner pick it up for me while I was at work! Pathetic and infuriating

waited next to mailbox for 2hours, A guy in van pulledover in kerb and didn't even get out of his van, just took the photo, didn't even left the collection card and just drive off. and i was waiting there for like 2hours. I didn't even know he was from Australian Post coz he never got out from his vehicle. what a worst service.

Fantastic customer service and wonderful customer service from Janet . Always ready with a smile and so helpful unlike some other staff unfortunately there.

The staff has always been kind and professional, great service overall. I pity the ignorance of people giving them negative reviews because of the postman.

Always receive terrific service from this post office. Staff were incredibly helpful setting me up a business account when I started posting large amounts of packages for my small business. Staff are always friendly and when the regular staff see me waiting inline they have all my packages ready for collection. The delivery contractor in this area is terrible as I live in an apartment building not only does he not attempt to deliver the packages he also no longer leaves a collection card. I have actually seen him parked on the street in front of our complex scanning all the packages for our building in the back of his van then clicking the no one home button on his device. This however is not a fault of the local post office more a fault of the system.

Your employee Sarah is straight up rude and has a really bad attitude. Unpleasant to deal with.

This post office is the definition of trash, Sarah the person serving us is incompetent and outright rude, when we went the next time we got served by another employee, as she went to get something Sarah brought her aside and said something related to us to her and she said that it won’t be possible today to do it. Someone teach Sarah customer service please.

Don’t like to leave negative reviews but I have only ever had negative experiences here. The postman never delivers any parcels to the apartment complex ever and I work Monday to Sunday in retail and the hours are not accommodating to anyone that doesn’t work 9-5. The public holiday open times on google never match the current open times that are set by the staff in the store. Very inconvenient, staff refuse to let my partner to collect parcels for me even with the signed authority slip and the same address on our ID’s.

To everyone leaving bad reviews because of the 'postman', these people at Queanbeyan post office are not responsible for the actions of delivery drivers - lol! I've never had a bad experience here, the staff certainly do their best - especially considering some of you are so disgruntled and rude on the daily.
