Knox Transfer Station

A few years ago it used to be a good tip but their prices are just ridiculous these days. Also if you want a good laugh, look at the prices in their tip shop, dearer than an overpriced salvos store.

Well priced, open longer hours than the others and doesn't smell like other tips.Could free up space around the pit by not having their machinery parked there thereby allowing more customers to dump at once.

3 times (no exaggeration) more expensive for a trailer load of concrete/bricks compared to Whitehorse 5KM up the road.

Worse tip ever. Rude staff and overpriced charges. Whitehorse which is 2 kms away is a much better and cheaper choice. I had to go to this useless tip as whitehorse was closed. The staff treats you like you are about to commit a crime. This place is probably surviving due to the naive and innocent locals who are not aware they are getting ripped off. Staffs are on a mega power trip. Lesser crowd lesser work for them I guess. Never coming back here again. I would rate it 0 star if I could.

My partner and I went to the Knox Transfer station today and was advised of where to park our trailer. Due to a misunderstanding between us and a worker, we parked in the wrong section. Ben; who was the MANAGER on duty then began to berate and shout at us for being in the wrong section. We tried to advise we were told to park there by another worker; as we thought we were. Instead of talking to us like HUMAN BEINGS he continued to yell and told us to get out. Unbelievably poor people skills. How he become a manger is beyond me.We went back to the beginning of the area and spoke with a worker named Aaron who was lovely, apologetic for our experience and helped us. Thankyou so much Aaron!

$172 for a trailer load has to be a joke. Whitehorse transfer station a couple of klms up the road is only $80

Staff are pretty friendly. Can be a little costly at $49 for a car load. But super easy to get around and for a tip it doesn't smell to bad

Yes I AM IN HUGE FAVOR of anyone who is ALL BUT feeling unhappy with the COST of this P.O.S ***t of a 'so called business' which as far as I'm concerned if REASON for outrageous and inconvenient rip off prices is due to wasted funding their new staff car park and FAR LIKELY, other investments that are A WASTE, so THEREFORE NOT Investments, and to mention this company, SHOCKINGLY BIASED and JUDGEMENTALLY IS ONLY in highest FAVOR OF anyone full time employed OVER any few of casual basis, NO DOUBT in wage gain vs subsidy. There IS MAJOR ABUSIVE DISCRIMINATION of some workers here who have a disability also from staff who are full time, WORST EXCLUSION in the workplace somebody could cop. THIS PLACE MUST BE run out of business for THEIR filthy corruption!!!!!!ANYONE PLEASE AVOID KTS at ALL COSTS for whatever REASON!!!!!!
