Great location, ensuites old & unclean, located next to noisy highway....when paying a premium price! Fires allowed on sites when Information brochure handed out at check-in says Fires on sites not permitted"."

Stayed on-site. Staff were fabulous check in was so easy. Amenities were clean tidy and had that fresh air smell about them .Sites are spacious and well kept Good Job Barmera we will be back.

Discovery Parks - Lake Bonney
I had an excellent powered, level, shaded, grassed site (H12) providing close amenities and fabulous view of Lake Bonney. Though it was extremely busy on the Friday and Saturday, fortunately half the crowd have moved on. It's so peaceful now.The sunsets/sunrises over lake are worth the stay. The park is expanding with more new cabins! The place can accommodate 2,500 people.Till the end of March 2023 all sites available are on a fabulous deal for $20 per night.

We hired an ensuite powered site ( very clean and great hot shower) for a kayaking weekend on the Lake !Had a great time and thank you to the ladies in the office who were more than helpful when we asked for a late checkout ! Will definetly be back ....Greg & Colleen

Great place to stay. Was very impressed on how clean the park was. Great view of the lake with lots of space to just relax. Pools where clean and great for a swim.

Stayed in the cabins in this park many times. Its always enjoyable and facilities are adequate for self catering, self sufficient holiday stays.Stunning views over Lake bonney and only a short drive into barmera town centre with shopping, food choices and quaint shops!I shall no doubt be back. Very relaxing!

Rooms shows 1 star however this review is for the powered camp sites. This park could be one of the best in SA however a vast majority of the campsites are a total disgrace we paid top dollar for a camp site that had zero grass on it and was a dust bowl until it rained then it became a mud hole. This park was not greatly effected by the floods and there is no reason that they could not spend a bit of the fees on improving the sites especially at the end nearest the large camp kitchen. You guys need to lift your game if you expect people to continue to support you by staying.

We booked on line, the check in was smooth and efficiently conducted, the cabin was well equipped and comfortable. The range of local interest brochures was comprehensive. We will certainly visit again.

Great location. On Lake Bonney. The site we had originally was difficult to access due to low hanging branches. A shift to a different site was facilitated. The site’s access to water and power is difficult as they were at different ends of each site and the hose and power cords were stretched to make them reach.
