Port Realty

I have formed the personal opinion that Port Realty does not always prioritise the best interests of its tenants and is not an agent that I personally would want to rent a property through (either as a tenant or an owner).I have had negative experiences with them. I believe my negative complaints are indicative of a broader pattern of their behaviour towards tenants. They are not nervous about exploiting or mistreating tenants. They know a lot more about how to use the system to their advantage. They had intimidated me and abused their power while still technically complying with the law. They have demonstrated a consistent pattern of disrespect and exploitation towards me.I am sure there will be some tenants who have had positive experiences with this agency. However the general impression I have formed is that they feel that their responsibility is to prioritise the interests of landlords rather than the tenants. In the long-term though this approach is not necessarily good for landlords either because when tenants have hostile relationships with their real estate agent.I believe a better world is possible and that renters should not tolerate being treated as second-class citizens.

Jarryd Favazzo is transparent with both owner and tenant! He advocates for both in the contractural relationship. I left my marital home in 2017 seeking tenancy with my children after not having worked out of the home for a decade and a half. Jarryd looked at my books, saw my character and signed me up after doing the checks! My children and pets spent 3 years in our first rental with Jarryd and then the following 3 years in another. Jarryd understands transition! His numbers are honest! He is fair. He is frank! I can highly recommend Jarryd's property management to get the best deal for the owner and tenant! Jarryd's ethics are of a high standard!

Port reality increased my rent after I was informed that the owner had passed away...And when I asked them why they were increasing my rent, they said that the owner wants to increase it.That's the kind of people they are..

Renter review:Some years ago upon my return from Sydney to Perth I was fortunate to have found a rental with Port Realty in the Fremantle area.During my lease period I had monthly inspections and found the staff to be professional and courteous at every turn.The process of paperwork, reference checks and the necessary issues to complete a lease were handled easily by the front staff.I then went on to purchase my own property in Perth.I would highly recommend Port Realty to assist in rental endeavors.Landlord ReviewDuring 2020 I had the fortune to reside overseas for 12 months.I engaged Port Realty and their staff to find a good tenant for my South Beach property.This was done and Suzie and Simon negotiated a slightly higher rental than I was asking. This was a great outcome plus the tenant quality was excellent.This 1 year lease was through the covid period and whilst overseas my agent had to negotiate a reduction in rent and a return to normal rent as per the Govt directions at the time.This was done without fuss to both myself and the tenants.Communications, inspections and discussions were always on time and professional given that my property was fully furnished to a high standard.I wish to Thank the Port Realty team for their good work and attention to detail in my absence and recommend them to any landlord looking for a good rental agent.

Terrible realtors. They are only interested in making everyone’s lives difficult.
