PEHLIVAN TURKISH STREET FOOD

In terms of quality of taste, this place is definitely in my top 3 of favourite Turkish restaurants. And I’ve been to many. We ordered the Sofra To Share, which is a mixed grill (adana, kofte, cutlets, shish) dish with salads, dips, bread and chips. The meat was seasoned and chargrilled perfectly and the other side dishes were all deliciously fresh. Nice, cosy atmosphere in a suburban location. The only minor negative I would add is that it’s very small, which is a shame because they could easily have more customers

We ordered take away chicken and Adana platters. The chicken was great, the dips and bread were good, the Adana was ok (a little dry but better if you’re watching your calories), the salad was clearly yesterdays salad (or even older), with some off taste and soggy vegetables. I think we came at an odd time, around 3.30pm so maybe they hadn’t made a fresh salad yet

The staff was attentive and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I stepped inside. The attention to detail and hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. From the delicious food to the beautiful atmosphere, everything about this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to return for another incredible meal!

This place is just what Hadfield needs. We've needed a yummy dinner spot for so long, somewhere that is family run, full of heart. This is exactly it!The food is amazing, so soft and full of flavour. The staff are all family, with their family eating dinner at the resturant while others cook. It's such an amazing, down to earth place.I will definitely be back and telling everyone I can.

We discovered this place two weeks ago by accident. Was trying to make a reservation for iftar and with a no contactable number for Marcels on West, we decided to check out the rush at Marcels. A waitress said they were booked which was fine, however when we asked about the process to book for iftar, it seemed like she lost her brain cells and stated, oh we are booked that's why it's not reachable.The same night Pehlivan made an accommodation for me and my family even though they were booked out for Iftar as well. The difference between quality of service and hoax of service between restaurants.Pehlivan had a beautiful decor and ambience. The food was even loved by my four year old daughter and she is hard to take out to eat. We went back to the restaurant a week later because we loved the food we discovered by accident. Cozy place with great ambience and amazing customer service. Highly recommend!

Not sure how anyone would rate this food any less than 5 stars.My wife and I have been here 3 times in the past 10 days it’s so good!We order the share plate and it’s the perfect variety and amount of food for 2 people!HIGHLY recommend the food!!

First time trying this place tonight and it was absolutely delicious! Meat was so tender and the house made bread was divine. Service and vibe was great also. Will definitely be back!

This place have the three main elements that make any restaurant successful; Amazing yummy food, very welcoming friendly customer service and cozy lovely vibe!I loved the place and cant wait to go back again. I have never tasted such tender meat in my life!

Great place, Great People, Great food!You can’t believe how good is the food and atmosphere even though the place is small. Food portions are abundant and I can’t tell you more about how good they are. Staff are friendly and helpful and you can see your food is being prepared and cooked and in front of you.
