Field of Light Uluru
Hmm it’s okay? We didn’t book this because it’s just not our thing. But since the Uluṟu helicopter company let us down by not showing up, the lovely general manager of the hotel got us the “star pass” for free because he felt so bad for us!I’ve seen similar light displays in Melbourne that I paid 20-something dollars for and that’s enough, I get the effort but is it really worth over $100?!?! I think it’s under that if you don’t do the star pass but gees the price was still just too much! Firstly I think the canapés were not as good as the ones you get before the Sounds of Silence. Then you drive to a section you can see the lights from afar but because it’s not a high enough platform you don’t get a sense of it really, it’s pretty with Uluṟu in the background but not draw dropping. Then you can walk amongst the lights and once you e seen a few you’ve seen it all. Not my thing, I def prefer more nature, but obviously they are popular so if you like lights installations then this is for you!

We loved it. Canapés cold but tasty served with beer bubbles or soft drink. Then short walk down to the spectacular lights. Bus pickup a bit hectic. Tour 2 hours not 2.5

Not really my thing... I prefer natural beauty and wasn't even going to do this... hasn't booked it, but after our helicopter tour was canceled, we were offered tickets to see the field of lights. It was as expected, so whilst cool to have a quick look, nothing is recommend or say is a must do. Listening to some others though, they loved it. My favourite bit was watching yet another sunset over uluru and then seeing the drone rehearsals in the background. Bit of fun for an hour, but I still wouldn't pay for it.

Sensational. We had the Drinks and nibbles while watching the sun set and the cours of the Rock change and then went the hill and walked through the field of lights. It is soooo huge. The size of 7 football fields. Just magical.

It's worth visiting the field of lights at Uluru. We paid for just the general admission which was just over 40 per adult. It's not cheap but it is cool. There are a lot of lights (50k+ I think). It was originally built to be a 6 month attraction back in 2016 but was extended due to popularity and has been extended again until 2027.The dinner and lights tour would be cool but cost quite a lot but you will get to see it at sunset and get some great photos. General admission starts when it's pitch black so you won't see Uluru.Bring a good camera! My Galaxy S23 takes good night photos but a lot of mobile cameras do not and it will all look blurry.

We had no expectations of this dinner but we were totally blown away. Pick up from the campground in a new bus, transferred to the car park where we walked aShort distance to the Sand dune where we enjoyed canapés and sparkling wine.Soon we were ushered to the dining area where we thoroughly enjoyed a 3 course dinner. There was a didgeridoo player and an astronomy talk before we were set free in the field of lights.Amazing. Simply stunning. For anyone coming this way I highly recommend this dinner

Don't let the photos fool you. This experience is NOT worth it.We went for the canapes, drinks and field of lights. The canapes were terrible (absolutely inedible), and the drinks were okay. However, what should have been the highlight of the evening, the lights, were completely underwhelming.Stumbling around along tracks amongst lights with a HUGE crowd was just not a good experience. Honestly, it's not worth it even if it was half the price.

It’s one of most spectacular outdoor lighting up fibreoptic exhibition among red desert with backdrop of Red rocks, Uluru. Taking the field of light pass with complimentary drinks and tapas , it begin with the last day light with backdrop of uluru . when the sun set, there are lighthing up thousands of lightbulbs connecting by fibreoptic in vast area of 7 football fields. It takes around 45 min-1hours to walk along the provided lit up path through .

We went to the field of lights experience for sunset, including drinks, canapés, followed by three course meal. It also included the didgeridoo player and an expert in showing us the night sky and all the different star constellations. The staff were extremely friendly and made the whole experience really lovely and special for everyone. to have a meal in the desert but feel safe and thoroughly enjoy the experience, food, views, sunset and the field of light art installation made it the number 1 highlight of four days in Uluru.Highly recommended, great for families and because we were seated at a large round table, we got to spend the evening getting to know two other families which was really special.
