We had a fabulous stay. Beautiful location with excellent views and very comfortable accommodation. A perfect location for a short getaway!

A beautiful private spot. Everything was clean and included above and beyond items for a perfect self contained stay.It was quiet other than the sounds of the birds which was wonderful.Comfy bed, lovely deck to relax on. Everything was an exceptional standard. My partner and I stayed for two nights and wished we’d booked for longer. Highly recommend, particularly for a couple’s get away.

Great everything..Although we didnt get to meet the proprietors on site they lived.However with Covid around its prob better.Next time we can have a chat maybe.We also some wildlife greet us on the fenceline in the beautiful morning.A very peaceful location and vineries close by .thankyou 1860 our time was vintage.

What fantastic stone cottages ! Tastefully fitted out and supplied with everything you could want like pots , pans cutlery etc , condiments all you need is your food to cook !! Definitely bring food up with you as the nearest supermarket is approx 28kms away the actual resort is quite hard to find so follow the directions of the proprietors and not Google maps.....1860 is directly opposite a winery so that's a good starting point..

Had a great stay, the Dawn cottage was beautifully situated on top of a hill overlooking gums and farm land...we had a visit from a kangaroo and a dear. The cottage itself is really cosy and tidy.The breakfast provisions and freshly baked bread was really nice and plenty for two breakfasts.The $70 welcome platter is definitely worthwhile. Our only fault was with the blinds down they didn't completely cover the windows and there wasn't a clean sponge provided for washing...but saying that we had a very enjoyable stay in the cottage and would definitely come back. Great value.

We stayed in The Stables. Renate and John had the fire going for us on arrival and that just set the tone for our whole stay. Loves the spa bath, the thick stone walls and the lovely deck overlooking pastures. A perfect place for romantic stay.
