Kin Early Learning Centre

We moved our little to Kin after a less than ideal start at another centre and we’re so glad that we did. The educators are excellent and have really taken the time to get to know our little. She loves ‘going to school’ at Kin to see her friends.It’s a beautiful centre that is very well maintained. Kin’s policies are well written, clear and updated regularly which speaks to the professionalism of the management team.

The educators are absolutely wonderful! They are kind, caring and I felt genuinely had a good emotional bond with my child. The front office/admin staff however are very “cool”, wouldn’t take time to talk to me about anything (I always felt like I was inconveniencing them and being rushed out the door/off the phone) and rarely greeted me when I dropped my child off or picked her up. Since they are front of house I would think it is even more important that they have a pleasant, welcoming demeanour, especially when it involves care for your child.

We moved our child across to Kin from another centre when it first opened, she was 17 months old. Since that time we have watched our child continue to grow into a secure, independent and happy child. She has formed great bonds with all of the staff and children across the centre.Walking in the doors of Kin, it has such a homey vibe, everything is very calming and natural. Plenty of outdoor space for the kids to play and learn, and variety of activities constantly on offer and changing throughout the year.Scott and Renae create an extensive menu and cook an array of delicious meals for the children, which often leave me very jealous of what my daughter gets to eat haha they also offer take home meals for parents for a small extra charge which is very handy on those days you are pressed for time.We are going to be very sad when this chapter closes and we gave to say goodbye to everyone at Kin. They have really become like an extended family and it is such a beautifuo little community.I would highly recommend Kin to anyone looking for long day care.

This centre goes above and beyond to support the children. The educators are passionate and really care about the children and their learning. I have really loved having my son in the centre for the past 2 years. The pre school teacher has done wonders with my LO.Get on the waitlist early if you are thinking of putting your LO in care.

The sense of community the team at Kin foster is beyond any centre we have experience before.We as parents of a child with an allergy cannot fault the team, operations and level of service at Kin.

I love kin, it's a great center, but the main educator I witnessed, I think her name is Cody, is super rude and I watched her talk to her staff members with malice, I don't like that as a parent. She left my child outside when it was super cold when they should be inside. My child is only little, and she had no right to keep my kid outside while it was freezing. I don't like that. and for that, you're getting 1 star. do better. with drop-offs and pick-ups, everything has been great, except when the same lady has made things awkward. this is coming from a former educator with experience. She shouldn't be aloud to run a room. thanks.

Our daughter has just completed the pre-school program at Kin, and we couldn't be happier with her experience.The director, receptionist and teachers are all amazing - even the teachers who didn't teach our daughter directly welcomed us in the morning, and happily updated us on our daughter's day at pick-up. Teachers were also always available for cuddles for those children who might be upset or missing their family.We appreciated the regular daily updates from staff, whether it was in person or via the app.The food is fantastic - meals and snacks are prepared by the in-house chefs and there's even the option of purchasing dinners to take home. The dining room is a beautiful space and ensures that kids become familiar with sitting down and eating together at tables.Being a new centre, the facilities are amazing, and are constantly being updated with new learning toys. We especially loved the garden, huge outdoor area with cubby fort and sandpit, and plenty of room for the children to run and play.We will miss Kin very much as our daughter starts kindergarten. We are very confident that Kin has prepared her well for the next stage of her learning journey.

Our experience at Kin has been absolutely positive, from the first point of contact and orientation, to the daily pick ups and drop offs, the service provided is impeccable. We are always greeted with friendly smiles from staff members, the children seem engaged, happy and well cared for with appropriate programs to support their needs. The food philosophy and quality is a highlight. Parents are kept informed and updated regularly with professional and respectful communication. We are extremely pleased with everything at Kin.

We have been fortunate to have had booth our children attend Kin ELC. Cannot recommend enough the Management, Educators and Support teams for all their professionalism and efforts with all the children and their families. The facilities and programs are state of the art and industry leading. A massive thank you to Steph and the team for allowing us to be part of the Kin ELC Community.

My daughter started at Kin ELC as soon as they opened in August 2020, she was aged 2 at the time.The owners, director, office staff & educators are passionate about what they do & are nothing but a pleasure to deal with. I completely trust them with my daughter who is now aged 4 & in her final year at Kin. I can honestly say that she has loved every single day that she has attended & it's thanks to the wonderful environment at Kin.She is thoroughly enjoying their preschool program & I feel Kin has played such an important role in helping prepare my daughter for the new changes ahead, transitioning to kindergarten next year. I'll be sad when she finishes up.I am so glad though that I am in the process of enrolling my 10 month old son & am grateful that he will also benefit from the nurturing guidance that the amazing Kin Family gives.I can't recommend Kin Early Learning Centre Queanbeyan highly enough.
