Roma Hospital

The person I cared for was palliative and I cannot praise this hospital and its staff for everything they did through this horrible time. Caring respectful and supportive. Cannot express my gratitude enough

Lovely building, friendly staff and all, but everything takes so terribly long, it's ridiculous. Spent half the day waiting with my fiancee because she had an eye infection. Left the place feeling worse since we waited in a dry air (Aircon) too cold (Aircon) environment with no access to proper food after lunch time. The student doctor who assisted us didn't even know there was a pharmacy in the building. But I regret we found out ourselves because again, so so terribly slow in there. Coffee lady was great and on point, unfortunately closed after lunch. Grateful for the free parking (thank goodness). I'm sure they mean well, but this is below the standard of care we are used to. Would definitely avoid going back.

Every time I go there, I am in good hands . The doctors are trying to help you. I was there today and I made them laugh. I love that hospital because of its old world charm it screams out the 1920's and the art decko inside.

Stunning brand new regional hospital with a brand new fit out.The imaging department is just awesome with all the latest technology and equipment making it possibly the most modern and efficient in the State .Anastasia's Govt has outshone for this region and its health facility and deserve a big thank you.

Had my 2nd Covid19 Astra Zeneca jab here this morning, I am not a local nor a Qld resident (althou I should be as spend.most of my retirement yrs here). I dont normally leave reviews for hospitals but on this occasion I am...I have to say without reservation that the staff, Evelyn (triage nurse), Lesley (Immun. nurse) very gentle with the jab and Michelle (Immun. clinic aftercare) all these ladies were superb.I would higly recommend and commend Roma Hospital of the staff, environment, professionalism and proficiency displayed. Most of all Evelyn...she went above and beyond from Sunday 11/7/2021 and today 12/7/2021. This is one very happy covid 19 AZ jab receiver (without side effects) thanks again Roma..& the hospital of course.

Thank you very much to the day theatre staff!! My Uncle has severe dementia, and right from the start he was treated with the utmost of care!! His procedure was very uneventful due to the staff being aware of his needs and making sure that he was comfortable at all times. His family are very grateful.

Walked in for a Pfizer shot on the 17/08 which was booked via my workplace as I'm fly in and out worker. I have never come across a more disinterested hospital receptionist in my entire life.When we spoke with the receptionist she went away for approximately 1 minuet came back to the service desk and said we needed to come back the next day as the nurse was on the phone!!! Really you mean we couldn't wait for the nurse to finish her conversation and then get vaccinated or was it just the case that we were dressed in our work overalls and you didn't want to deal with us because we weren't local. In any case I made a complaint to QLD Health in Brisbane, so much for getting vaccinated.

Ridiculous what country hospitals have become. Better off fending for yourself. Staff can’t be bothered making thorough enquires anyway.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Couldn't thank them enough but unfortunately some weren't there to say goodbye to when I was transferred to Toowoomba. What food I did manage to eat was good quality. Take it from me, if you are travelling and need a hospital, Roma Hospital is the one to go to.
