Brisbane City Psychologists

Feeling a bit down, had some issues i knew i needed to deal with, help was needed. Did the Dr visit and got my referral to Brisbane City Psychologists, Martin Hood. Absolutely life changing. Never had i understood the difference it could make, it is so good to see a psychologist, i honestly believe everyone should do it , cleared my head and helped me understand so much about myself, and my behaviours, and why i reacted to things the way i did.From the minute i walked in the door everyone was amazing, Madeline one of the receptionist's was fantastic as were the other girls, she kept me posted with all my appointments and it was great to always get very friendly welcomes wait times were never very long and i felt like time was never an issue at my appointments.Such a lovely ambience here and everyone is so friendly which makes such a difference.I would not hesitate to recommend the team here, a problem shared is most certainly a problem halved and more.I hope not to see Martin and co again but would not hesitate to go back should a situation arise and i needed help.Thanks so much for all your help, truly amazing :)LAUREL

I wanted to get in touch with psychologist David Norman just to thank him for completely changing my life! Hopefully he reads this but it's been a year and a half since I went to my sessions and the change that's happened to me as a result is astronomical. He's genuinely an amazing psychologist who really studies you and picks out just the right therapy you need. He genuinely changed my life and I am very grateful for our sessions together.

Can someone tell me why Psychologists require a certain certificate for a medical procedure (For a disease that can't be mentioned) The SAME 'medical procedure' that caused people to seek out psychological help and put them in this horrible situation in the first place. The same procedure that people refusing to get lead them to lose their jobs and ruin their lives. Yet you guys have the courage to say that you can't come and get professional help unless you get it! how do you sleep at night? How can you say you're sincerely trying to help people when you exclude people who need you the most. I don't care what higher ups" tell you this is a requirement

Really bad psychologist. Trying rather hard but then sacked herself while obvious issues not solved. Costs $330 an hour. Obviously I'm too busy to do homework. Major disappointment.

Stephanie is great! Very easy to talk to. Feels like a safe environment to talk about concerns and worries. Loved my first experience here! 100% would recommend.

Unprofessional and callous administrative staff. My partner scheduled an appointment with these people and emailed them asking if the Mental Healthcare Plan she had would be accepted and what costs she would need to pay. They took up until 30 minutes before the appointment was scheduled to bother returning her email and expected in a half hour for her to get a GP appointment, have a new MHP written up and be on time for the session. As a result my girlfriend was reduced to tears dealing with these people, as an honours psychology graduate I find the behaviour of their administrative staff to be inexcusable. You're better off finding a clinic with administrative staff who care about prompt and transparent conveyance of costing, especially considering the prevalence of mental illness resulting from financial difficulties.

I am seeing a psychologist at BCP and she is absolutely amazing. I can’t speak highly enough of her.The BCP team are very accomodating and make every effort to assist you where possible.I recently had an incident where I was unable to attend an appointment and they were able to rectify this in only hours.Thanks folks, much appreciated

I’ve been seeing Dr Miyuki Ono for a couple of years now and I am a far better person for it.She provides a safe environment to go through things at my own pace whilst still providing the guidance to make sure we’re on the right path.

My wife and I truly appreciate the professional service Brisbane City Psychologists have provided us. They have gone above and beyond and we can't thank them enough.
