Mina’s Alteration

Overcharged by several dollars, didn’t return my (good!) coat hangers, and confused me with another customer so didn’t have my items ready by the date promised. Won’t be back. Clothes also came back with hair and fluff and clearly marked with the pencil used to draw the new hem line. Haven’t tried the adjusted skirt on as I’m at work right now, but the new hemline looks rushed and shoddy, which has ruined the look of an expensive skirt, the hem lines also look wobbly and uneven. Would have expected much better quality from a professional. If you do go here don’t take quality items as they won’t come back looking the same quality you left them in.

I had 2 x old Safari Suits tailored by Mina - they look amazing and were half the price i'd paid for a previous suit alteration.The shop is a little hidden away behind the deli, but the quality and value are top shelf!

Great job taking up my work trousers, quick as a whip and very reasonably priced. Mina herself is a lovely person, to boot :)

Always take my clothes to Mina and always very happy with her work. Never had to wait for more than five days to pick up my things and never had to take the same piece back to her.Very very happy with her. Mina’s super lovely and friendly and always greets me with a smile :)

Great job repairing a rip in my jeans - very strong patch work and from the outside you can barely tell that they've even been stitched together. And all for a very reasonable price too.

The pants I had altered here were delivered two days late. Worst part was it would have been 5 days late had I not followed up on it. So apparently it was finished on time and they just thought they hadn't yet. Not impressed with how disorganised they were. The lady and her husband were lovely, I just hope they could improve on this aspect.

I have recently dropped two dress sizes. I have taken several pairs of jeans, shorts and work pants to Mina for taking in. Each item has been altered perfectly. You cannot tell that they have been taken in at all. I have also had a couple of items dry cleaned.Great prices. Amazing service (Mina is just lovely) and quick turnaround. Highly recommend.

Went here today, Mina opened up her shop especially for me to get an old favourite pair of cool pants I have had forever that I just don't want to chuck away just yet, mended. Excellent service, prompt and professional. Mina showed me what she was going to do before she did it and made sure I was happy before she started. I was quite impressed at how well she mended a big tear in the leg, I really wasn't expecting too much but with final outcome was amazed at how well she mended the pants. Need to go down side alley to get to the shop but wasn't too hard to find. Highly recommend her, very friendly, accommodating and professional, takes great care with garments and above all listened to what i wanted. I am from Mount Gambier and know where I will come now when I need any alterations or mending in future.
