Reception and administration are terrible. No emotions….. very dry. We arrived for our appointment at 11 and without being told that the doctor was running behind we’ve been waiting 40mins and still not seen. I asked what’s happening and that’s when they informed us that the doctor is running behind. Why do we make bloody appointments if we have to sit for nearly an hour?

Had my 2nd Covid vax here - super efficient and friendly staff! Booked on hotdoc - waited maybe 5mins for the jab. Really great experience! Well done and thanks to all the staff that work here.

I just phoned to get my 2nd jab. If I was a patient of theirs I could have got it the next day. Because I'm not I have to wait another 6 weeks. Where is the humanity in that?Contacted by email as requested. No response so far.

Have had two procedures done by doctors here and always a great experience. Staff at front desk are incredibly efficient and patient with, at times, challenging patients.

Visited the Ballina Clinic - reception staff were horrible to deal with; I could hardly understand what they were saying & they refused to repeat themselves. I am an elderly person & to be treated in such a way when all I wanted was for the doctor to look at my swollen hands & feet is not nice! Please avoid dealing with these people; unless your keen on being ignored.

This is the nicest clinic I have ever been to, from the welcoming receptionists and short wait times, it felt like visiting a wellness centre as opposed to the dread that comes with the usual GP visit. I had a skin check done by Dr Paddy and despite my fears of needles he made me feel validated and I ended up leaving with a big grin on my face. His patience, understanding and sincere time spent with me was what I truly didn’t know I needed from a Drs visit. This really is what makes a clinic stand out from the rest, unlike the usual rushed 10 minutes to get you out the door and onto the next patient. Thank you First Light Ballina.

Surprised to be charged $135 for a standard visit. When I asked reception they explained that it was because the appointment went longer than 20minutes. The GP was late as usual and the appointment ran for exactly 20minutes. I work in Allied Health and all of my clients know how much they're going to pay before they consent to an appointment. I manage my time with them so I don't run over time. After returning to the clinic and explaining that I didn't consent to being charged this amount I was told that it was too bad and offered for the practice manager to give me a call.
