Songbirds Studio Essendon - Singing & Piano Lessons

I highly recommend Amy and Songbirds Studio. Amy is a patient, fun & passionate singing teacher. My 9 year old & 12 years old always give positive feedback & love working with her.Amy and her team have addressed any of my queries promptly and effectively and keep me well informed of my child's progress. My daughter was also well prepared for High School music and performances thanks to Amy's time and commitment.Songbirds is highly recommended.

My daughter Scarlett joined Amy during the Covid 19 pandemic. Initially, joining in on Amy’s singing club via zoom, Scarlett has progressed to the Introductory Singing Class each week. Amy has been fantastic at engaging the children and keeping their interest during the lessons, which is quite difficult to do via zoom. Amy ensures that the singing activities are age appropriate, while educating the children on the fundamentals of reading sheet music as well as maintaining a good level of fun. During these challenging times this is something that Scarlett looks forward to each week and has an amazing time in every lesson.

I can't recommend the staff at Songbirds highly enough. The amount of dedication they put into ensuring a high quality standard of learning balanced with lots of fun and engagement. The relationship they build with their students is nothing short of amazing.

We have been attending Songbirds Studio for about 6 months now and I am super impressed with Amys ability to teach singing technique, theory and even sight-reading to my daughter in such a fun way that she is enjoying it so much! Its great that this approach covers many areas of music and singing at the same time.Amy brings enthusiasm into lessons and is clearly passionate about teaching. My daughter loves attending her lessons each week and we've noticed changes in more than just her musical abilities. We were particularly happy about Amys background in Psychology, my daughter doesn't fit well into other activities and Singing is clearly therapeutic for her, Amy is able to not just teach her singing but is mentoring her, boosting her self-esteem and confidence at the same time and is truly nurturing her.Amy is much more than just a singing teacher would recommend particularly for tween and teen girls.

Amy has a large experience with being with and teaching children. They are always having a fantastic time, leaving them eager to practice and learn fast. And no need to mention her voice is exquisite!
