Fantastic experience to see such a variety of types of seahorses. The 45 min tour wash full of information and great for kids.Touching a seahorse was the highlight, even for grandma!!!!The cafe & truffle chocolate shop upstairs are a great way to finish off, with amazing waterside views.

We stopped here because someone recommended to us to have a look at Seahorse World. I am so glad we did. The tour was amazing and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. It was very interesting to learn about different kinds of seahorses and seadragons. It was also fascinating to see the different tanks of potbelly seahorses at different stages of life and learn about the food they eat. They also have an area where you can hold a seahorse if you wish. They also have some other interesting fishes you can look at. The gift shop is also good and reasonably priced. The entry tickets were also very well priced. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Interesting place to understand breeding and export of seahorses. Unusual to have access to this back of show operation. We’ll managed and clear they follow best practices. I would like to have seen similar for Sea Dragons. How one guy has become so focused and world renowned is amazing. Worth the trip.

Wasn’t quite sure what to expect as it’s situated inside an old shipping shed but ended up learning about and viewing hundreds of beautiful seahorses and other creatures on display as well as going through the breeding and growth process. Only 45 minute guided tours are available (no self-guided tours) but our tour guide was excellent and was well informed about all things seahorse. Group sizes are small too with only about 8-10 people on each tour. Only real criticism is that the foyer/kiosk/gift shop could use some updating. There was also a cafe upstairs but this was closed during my visit.

My wife and I visited here and were simply fascinated by the displays. Our guide was a fountain of knowledge. This would be great for families. There are literally thousands of seahorses to see, from tiny babies up to large adults, and in a range of colours and varieties. One of the highlights of the tour is where you can actually cradle a seahorse in your hand and pose for a photo. This experience exceeded our expectations. And its right next door to Platypus World.

Seahorse World is informative and obviously very skilled at their breeding program as there were thousands of seahorses. Seeing so many in one tank was an odd experience and changed the way I see these fish. Being able to hold them though was novel and we enjoyed seeing the other fish too.Website booking system doesn’t match their tour times and we had to wait for a tour, even though we turned up on time.
