Disappointing experience mani/pedi.Notified staff of being pregnant prior to appointment, was asked lie down on back in a very warm room. Inadequate alternative provided, had to inform staff multiple times feeling ill, not a pleasant experience. Would expect higher level of service for price.

I requested a specific treatment called Purr. Half hour back and neck massage and half hour facial. I requested in writing. I also called to confirm. This was a gift for my partner. She received a completely different service. No facial. Disappointed. Pay attention staff member Emily

I used to go to @Spa Indulgence quite frequently. It was conveniently just up the road and was a great 'getaway' if the hours at work had been piling up. Since the change in management, I've been once and would never go again. Nothing about my package (massage and facial) was relaxing, with the therapist constantly bumping into the table making sure I stayed firmly grounded in reality. A birthmark on my leg got poked and prodded after questions as to whether it was 'catching'. I was appalled at the lack of professionalism, and after letting the therapist know that I wasn't happy I was simply met with a shrug and a mumble. What a sad demise of this once lovely place.

I've always had problems with my shoulder muscles being very tight and giving me headaches. After my visit today for a massage and a facial, my shoulders feel so relaxed and my skin is glowing. Thank you!

I received a gift voucher for my birthday, it was the most fabulous experience I have had. The girls at Akorah are very welcoming and know how to pamper. I would recommend this day spa to anyone looking to take some time out and relax. I'll definitely be back

Myself and three others got massages, facials and manicures/pedicures.The package was bought as a facial/massage for $135 and we decided on an additional manicure or pedicure for an extra $60.The massages were fine, though short, and back only. The facial was fine for an express facial. The package was supposed to last 90 minutes, including the pedicure.The manicures/pedicures were more than disappointing. They only involved a quick buff, an uneven polish and no top coat. Our cuticles weren't done, our hands/feet weren't washed, staff had little experience in shellac removal and they left us to get dressed with wet nails. Whilst I can understand not everyone is amazing at painting nails, it was two different people that did a botched job indicating lack of staff training.They started us 10 minutes late, and then finished us 10 to 15 minutes early to take our time getting ready to leave, indicating they had upwards of 15 minutes to do a better job.When two of us went back to give feedback to reception, the receptionist acted like she had heard this complaint many times. Her solution was to give us cheap bubblebath packs to get us to leave.The cost of the manicures or pedicures was $60 - this price suggests a far better experience than what was offered. Two out of four had pedicures and both left with dirty feet.Until they improve their service or lower their prices significantly, I would definitely not recommend it. If I'd known, being someone that gets a regular pedicure for less than half the price, I would have gone somewhere else.It definitely put a dampener on my day, having to go home to clean nail polish off of my skin and fix the job.

Lovely location and great massages. Unfortunately very disappointed with a recent eyebrow shape- despite asking for a tidy only, ended up with substantially thinner shape, widely spaced and uneven brows.

Akorah is just heavenly! I’ve visited a few times now, and every time the service is just wonderful. They are super attentive to detail and will go above and beyond to ensure you’re relaxed and well catered for for your entire experience. Adore this place.

Have ended up with huge bruising to both shoulders from massage and been in pain for 2 days. If i took a bloodthinner could understand this but not on any meds. Believe this will be my first and last massage.
