Atomic Coffee Machine

I ordered an item on their website at the beginning of the month - 3 weeks later - Despite having provided a payment receipt on 2 occasions - my invoice is still marked as due with no further communication from the shop.Perhaps it is time they stop trading?Ordering from Bon Trading has been a real waste of time experience for me so far. Pas bon trading du tout!

Very pleased with our recently purchased Atomic Coffee Maker! Here it is set up to make our late afternoon coffees at Kings Canyon, Northern Territory, Australia.

An oddity of a shop at the top of Oxford Street run by two quirky characters. They have the old style coffee machines, grinders and fountains you cannot find anywhere else and are very knowledgeable about them.

Went in to Bon Trading about two weeks ago to pick up a spare part for my Atomic.?Owner was helpful, attentive and a pleasure to deal with.The store is a classic old Sydney store- filled with interesting objects and a welcoming atmosphereIt’s been about 18 years since I last went in there & bought up big on Atomic spare parts- worried that it would not be there much longer- it’s so fantastic that it’s still going- stronger than ever. Thank you Bon Trading!

I purchased an Atomic coffee machine from these guys about a year ago. It had a serious design or manufacturing fault that has caused the small brass screws attaching the plastic handle to to the coffee bowl to become detached while the bowl was in my hand and full of boiling coffee. Fortunately I wasn't injured, but this was purely through good luck, as I or the young child who was in the kitchen with me at the time could very easily have been badly burned.I have notified Bon Trading Company twice about this, letting them know about the problem, pointing out the risk to their customers, and asking only for a replacement bowl. Even though I offered to send them pics showing exactly what has happened, they haven't even bothered to reply!

How lucky are we to still have this shop. They don’t exist anymore. Always a delight to visit, never leaving without an adventure and laugh. Live theatre at its best!

The Atomic is an iconic coffee machine which I can highly recommend.Bon Trading has great products... quality parts and good range... a nice looking website too. The negative aspects about Bon Trading are the snail-pace processing & shipping on anything you order and zero communitcation or updates on what's happening with your order. Several people warned me about this before I ordered from them and it has proved to be exactly the case.So the bottom line is, Bon Trading is a good place to get spare parts for your Atomic... but seriously, if you expect any communication, good customer service or fast/efficient delivery of your orders, you're going to be disappointed.

Shockingly bad customer service. I ordered goods five weeks ago and was not contacted about any delay. I emailed, called 3 times and went to voice mail, finally spoke to someone who promised my goods would arrive today because I explained I was leaving to go overseas. Just spoke to an elderly woman in the office who explained my goods would be shipped out next week. I asked for a refund but she was dismissive, rude and hung up on me. This business has completely lost the plot.And now they are being dishonest by saying I didn’t read the note on their website. This was put up after I emailed them on Feb 20 asking about my goods, 16 days after I purchased. To any potential buyers, please read the latest reviews and heed our advice.

Thanks so much for your business over the years. I bought my Atomic ten years ago and it is still going strong. I love it and never purchase coffee out anymore. Bon Trading stocks a great range of parts as well.
