I had James take photos at my 21st! He is a great photographer and took a range of photos from candid, room photos and normal photos. The range of photos were all great and he did a fantastic job. James is also super friendly and knows exactly what he is doing which was great, as it allowed for my night to go smoothly. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a photographer.

I booked James based on the positive reviews here but can't believe how different my experience was. James cancelled the photography for our engagement party just hours before, citing a positive covid test (which I'm guessing was just an excuse) as he cancelled via email and didn't even have the professionalism to call me. He didn't provide any alternative photographer or contacts/recommendations. He was unprofessional from the beginning with poor communication. For example, he never answered a phone call, didn't ask critical questions e.g. I had to follow up with emails asking if he knew where to come for the event etc. I tried to pay a deposit but he said it was fine without, so I'm guessing he was never planning to come and the good old covid excuse was an easy out. I appreciate people can get sick, but the overall experience with James was so unprofessional from beginning to end I think there was a lot more to it than that. Just wish I could go back in time and never engage his services at all.

James photographed my husband’s 30th surprise birthday. His attention to detail in photographing with natural light was why I picked him. Our guests enjoyed his company, and he was able to blend in well with our family and friends. I love the way he’s captured the candid moments of the party, making it memorable and personable. James is exceptional!! We engaged James as a photographer for my fiance's 30th. He was stuck on a boat with us for 4 hours, and managed to capture every fun moment without us even realising. He was so easy to work with, captured beautiful candid moments, and his photos are epic. I've worked with a number of photographers, and James is among the best. Highly highly recommend.

James was great -- he was early, stayed later than we paid for, didn't intrude into the action, and somehow still managed to get a great mix of candid and staged shots. We picked James to shoot our engagement party with mates and family, and he captured the vibe perfectly. His rates were reasonable, and we love the speed of getting us the pics.
