Life Saver.My husband flew down to Adelaide to host a function.We opened our bag to find face oil all over his only suit.I found Manhattan dry cleaners on google, so I arrived at 7 30am asking for a miracle.By 8 45am I had a phone call saying it was all done.The lady was so lovely and met me with a smile.5 stars +

Got numerous blazers and a suit dry cleaned. Amazing results, blazers that looked shiny and worn-out were returned looking like new and suit was returned refreshed and looking new as well. Good customer service and work - will definitely will be a return customer.

I brought my leather motorbike jacket in for dry cleaning around 2-3 months ago. When contacted to pick it up, I noticed that the leather was damaged, cracked, and had a sticky, slimy texture. The logo on the jacket chest was also damaged in a similar fashion. Upon bringing this up with the owner, I was told that they would “paint over it” and offer me the entire service for free. I returned when prompted to collect my “fixed” jacket to find that it was not fixed, the damage was in fact worse and they were now demanding payment despite their original offer due to the damage inflicted. I did not want to pay for a service where they obviously did not know what they were doing in regards to cleaning leather properly, and had profanities screamed at me with my jacket being taken away and refused to be returned. I offered to pay for half of the price considering it was meant to be free and the damage involved, however more abusive slurs were hurled at me. The police had to be involved, yet they still won’t return my property or admit their fault in the improper cleaning and care of the garment. As a business owner myself, I know better than to hurl abuse at customers, and instead try to come to a reasonable agreement. I do not recommend anyone visit this store if they wish for their clothes to be treated with care. I have images of the damaged jacket and a video of the confrontation should anyone require them.

My partner and I were planning a very last minute wedding and I had found the perfect dress. It needed some alterations and multiple friends had recommended that I go to Queen of Stitches. I went there and walked out in a state - they had belittled my choice of dress telling me that it wasn't the dress for me" and that no alterations could be done. I went into work in tears and one of my bridesmaids recommended that I try the place across the road. I'm so glad she did! The team at Manhattan were so lovely and the seamstress was able to make the alterations to my dress in a week. Highly recommend to all brides with tricky alterations who want to be treated with kindness."

This place is amazing. I cannot give higher praise to the people who work here. Made me feel so comfortable and reassured of the confidence I put on them to make alteration to my dress. As previously burnt in the past by other companies, this place took on an almost impossible task in my eyes and delivered more than I could ever expect in such a timely manner. Again, such amazing people work here and hats off to the seamstress.

I had my curtains cleaner through Manhattan and I was very pleased with the results. They came out to my home and took the curtains down and brought them back and re-hung them. A great family business right here in SA. The team were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. I would absolutely recommend Manhattan Dry Cleaners.
