Waterline Boathouse
This cruise is a must do, Dolphin cruise.Few hours on the lake and a lovely lunch and dessert for just $55 dollars (pensioner)The crew is so nice.I will come back again. We had a great time.

Small waterfront business with kayak rental as well as a nice little oyster and wine bar on the over the water deck, looking out onto a small marina. Nice spot to chill out, and only 5 mins from the bridge and river mouth.

Waterline Boathouse
We actually booked a hire boat at one of the other places nearby, confirmed over the phone, however on arrival they denied the boat of choice so we went next door to Waterline Boathouse. The staff at Waterline were very welcoming and accompanying. We were immediately provided with an excellent boat for our purpose. After fishing, we stayed at Waterline for a meal. While we waited they offered our young kids some bread to feed the fish off the deck - a clear highlight for them. The meals were delicious! The friendly staff were quite knowledgeable of the area. If we visit Forster again, we’ll definitely be back.

Thank you for the service. We did kayaking and hired a boat with Waterline Boathouse. It was very smooth from the tele booking to the actual trip. Very friendly and professional. While we did not book the boat in advance, the team managed to give find us one. We also had the oyster and coffee at the restaurant. It was fresh and the ambiance is great

Not the first time we have been here. It is a great little spot to hire a boat, SUP, canoe etc. The view is stunning. They also do great cheese platters, oysters, prawns and light meals.Not to take away from them, but the service is slow. It was busy, but not that busy!! We will come back, but just graze. No hot/cooked meals.

Very relaxed and comfortable setting on the deck and the staff were just amazing. The food, just delicious. Was well worth the day trip from Newcastle. Would highly recommend.

Awesome! We did a river cruise with Free Spirit Cruises. What a fantastic day we are having today. Beautiful lunch, great service and the commentary from Peter is interesting and humorous. Saw some dolphins too! What a great day! Don't miss out, do yourself a favour and book them.

Definitely do not recommend. These people have bankrupted multiple other businesses over the years to afford their lifestyles. Only to move onto the Waterline Boathouse, to hide from past creditors, where exploiting child labour for below award cash in hand payment is the norm. Not to mention the unsafe work practices. There are multiple other boat hire businesses in the area more deserving of your money!From unfriendly customer service, poor quality/ overpriced food..Such a shame that a beautiful little area has been run down by such poor business ethics. Shop around folks, your money is worth more..

I frequently visit Waterline Boathouse and there is no better place than here too enjoy a coffee and lunch with amazing views of our beautiful Wallis lake, food looks and tastes amazing the (sea scallops my favourite) as for the staff absolutely brilliant so friendly, helpful, kind and very accommodating to suit your needs, hiring any watercraft is a breeze with them everything is explained extremely well and very clear. Best place at anytime of year and fur baby friendly as well. See you again soon Waterline .

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Not one to complain often but this place was a rort. Prawns are evidently packaged/ frozen, the rest was air fried garbage. The vapid age-denying lady was hardly hospitable. Was happy to find the exact same oysters just a short stroll up Little Street at Barclay. For HALF THE PRICE !!!!!!!!!UPDATE: In response to your reply, my name is Ian and I left that legitimate review of my experience when I visited. I can see that you respond to any negative review as being fake". Great way to run a business!!"
