Anytime Fitness

One of the best maintained and cleaned gyms I have attended and I have been to hundreds. Good spacious layout, equipped with pretty much all you need. New to this outlet is the new group and functional fitness area with all new equipment.

Excellent facilities and professionally run. Equipment is always clean and functional. Great staff and personal trainer. Could not recommend more highly.

If I could leave no stars, I would. My sister, cousin and I wanted to start trying out different anytime fitnesses with our membership. Bayswater is not our usual gym,and after seeing good reviews we wanted to give it a go. We are all frequent gym members who know how the equipment works and know how to be safe in the gym. Super unprofessional, started vacuuming with the loudest vacuum you could find. My cousin wanted to use the squat rack and was moving the safety bar from one squat rack to the other, which were right next to each other, as there were only one set of safety bars at the squat racks (which at other AF there is a set for each squat rack). The gym was almost completely empty so it wouldn’t have effected anyone else. The owner came over and was super condescending to my cousin and said “due to safety reasons she couldn’t move the safety bar” He ranted on for a while about safety and acting like we didn’t know how the squat rack worked and everything he said didn’t seem to make sense as he was claiming the safety bar being moved made it unsafe? which makes absolutely no sense. He was passive aggressive and rude and and the us three girls felt super uncomfortable with the confrontation. Super unprofessional, started vacuuming with the loudest vacuum you could find. We decided to leave after being there less than 10 mins. Had he asked us politely to move the safety bar after a set or to move squat racks, we would have, no problem. He continued to question which gym we were from and told us “he doesn’t know how other anytime fitness works but they probably don’t let you move equipment either”: When every gym we’ve been to literally let’s you move equipment especially SAFETY bars- for your safety. They also let you move equipment when needed as long as it’s put back. He treated us like we were stupid and had no idea what safety was. He walked off leaving us all quite upset and confused- “if you could put it back that would be great, thanks” very sarcastically. Not a great experience for our first time at this gym and definitely won’t be back.

Family-owned franchise. They're there most hours to personally assist with anything, and they have a no-BS sign-up and membership management. Expect wide open spaces and good ventilation and temperature control.

Awesome Gym, cannot recommend more highly. Has everything you need and is always well maintained no matter what time you come. Culture is amazing and the engagement from managers/trainers to it’s members is why I make the detour to come to this location. Thanks Bayswater Anytime!

Great amenities very clean and great equipment although theres a couple things like cable machine and adj. Decline bench where 2 would be better when it's busy..And overnight there's too many fans on at once making it too cold in colder weather

My family and I are members of this gym for the last one year. We’ve been to other Anytime Fitness locations overseas and in other parts of Victoria, but this gym is the cleanest and has the most modern & well-maintained equipment. Very welcoming staff and personal trainers.

Very clean and beautifully maintained. The equipment is well looked after and wide ranging, which is impressive given the available space. Furthermore, Anytime Fitness Bayswater is within short walking distance to the train station and the cafes and shops nearby.

The staff at this gym are really friendly. The place has a great vibe and is very clean. It is a safe and comforting place to exercise, the equipment is all cleaned properly and social distancing measures are in place to ensure that you can get your work out in a safe and clean environment.
