SLOT ME IN

The Google review rating for SLOT ME IN, from my experience, is not at all an accurate representation the product or service quality. It should be 5.0 rating, but there appears to be some fictitious reviews with bold and unsubstantiated claims that bring the rating down to 2.9. If you’re a critical thinker and investigator, you’ll see through these fake accounts and recognise that we are in an era where fake, misleading and inauthentic reviews are a means for some companies to tarnish a competitor’s brand and reputation. What’s my experience with SLOT ME IN?I conduct rigorous amounts of research before making almost any purchase. One key criterion I have is that the item is built to last, which I call buy it for life. As such, I own a lot of cast iron cookware. The XPBW Wedge 900 satisfied these criteria and a few more. It is made from high quality thick Australian steel (4mm) and it is modular, packing down flat. Furthermore, it is designed in such a way that you can assemble and disassemble it in seconds. The whole philosophy behind the design fits how I intend to use the Wedge in the future, and my values. You can season the steel like you can cast iron, oiling it with vegetable oil, or let it form a patina. Either way, these are built to last and you can see and feel that they are a multigenerational investment.In terms of service quality, I’d say they are also second to none. I had a whole heap of different questions that I threw at Waz right from the pre-purchase stage, and he answered them all and more, spending probably close to 40-50 minutes on the phone with me before it looked like I was even going to make a purchase. He was friendly and honest, and gave great anecdotal use case evidence and solid detail about the production and design processes for my own understanding.If you judge SLOT ME IN by the Google review, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Give Waz a call, check out their Facebook page, and conduct a little bit of research. If you want versatility, longevity, and overall quality in a warmth and cooking solution for camping, travel or the yard, I can’t find a comparable product on the market that isn’t a low quality knockoff of what these guys have been making since the 70s. The image below is the maiden voyage for my Wedge 900 before I threw a cast iron grill over it and seared a 48 hour slow cooked brisket.

What a joke this company is. I had an issue with my product and tried many time to call but no answer just went to voicemail. I left a message but nobody returned my call. Their customer service appears to be as bad as their their product. I can't believe either that they are claiming that their bad reviews are fraudulent. I'd believe them after my dealings with them and I would encourage you to think twice before buying from them.

Poor form. Copying other peoples designs and even boasting that you are the original and only one making it. Shame on you. Come up with your own ideas. Even trying to backdate a blog on your website, shame Google tells me the page you back dated" is only 3 days old. And you launched the product one week after you bought one from the original manufacturer. Disgusting."

Great product, however the company's customer service is lacking big time.I have asked for advice on an issue I am having with a fire pit and seem to be getting ignored

Could not be happier with our SLOT ME IN Aussie Volcano. We were a bit unsure as to which product would be most suitable for what we wanted, (there is quite a big range!) however Waz was more than happy to take the time to explain the capabilities of his products which he has clearly designed and constructed himself. His knowledge of his products and cooking outdoors was quite impressive! Through our discussion, Waz was also able to advise which accessories we needed to get cooking! We thoroughly enjoy sitting by our chimenea as we cook and experiment with various meals, whilst enjoying the ambiance and warmth of the fire. (We also use some tips and tricks from SLOT ME INs facebook page!!) If you are looking for a unique product to introduce you to a new way of cooking, give your backyard some character or even just to enjoy in general, i would strongly recommend Waz and his range at SLOT ME IN. Would not trust a company that blatantly rips off other people’s designs and claims them as their own. Can’t even come up with own business look has to copy that as well.Shame on you
