Loving that the range here is expanding into high end Wagyu etc, but the prices are starting to get a touch too high. I've had a couple of average high end cuts as well, which has been disappointing given the high price point. I did a mb2+ picahna that was really chewy, and for comparison I made one the week prior with the same technique etc which was $20 and was like butter. For $65 I'd expect something pretty good. Photos attached of an absolute cracking Onyx T-bone I got from here though, delicious!

Good quality meat. I have being going to Peters for a couple of years. Unfortunately on my last visit the service was non existent and I had to listen to the butcher complaining to another customer that he was losing his hair . He told another waiting customer he had to serve his friends first. I ended up going elsewhere

Love this place. Bought myself a smoker a few months ago and have constantly been going back to this place any time I’m trying a meat dish. Really helpful as well if you want to ask for advice on the best rubs and sauces for the meat you’re cooking! Highly recommend

This is our most favourite butcher!! Always always friendly faces from all the staff. I believe it's a family run business. I highly recommend their meat especially their lemon pepper chicken. Love this business because of their great selection, friendly staff and helpfulness. Thanks guys, your friendliness always makes our day amazing. The black Onyx T-Bone was possibly the nicest steak I’ve ever tasted including from high end restaurants! All their meat is fantastic and bacon is next level, can’t recommend these guy highly enough! Just gutted they are closed for the next 2 weeks so need a back up butchers near Maroubra

Great butcher! I'm smoking something low and slow most weeks and Peter's meats is my go to. I've cooked their American pork ribs, beef brisket, standing beef rib eye roast, pork belly, lamb shoulder, lamb leg, sausages... You name it I've bought it from Peter's and it's always top notch. Steve is my favourite butcher there, always preps my cuts perfectly and gives great advice on the best cuts for certain cooks. Really good rubs and sauces also. Can't rate highly enough.

Easily the best retail butcher in the Eastern suburbs. They have a large range of fresh cuts of meat including grain fed and grass (pasture) fed beef. Also has lamb, pork and chicken. Also bulk pieces for your convenience. Located in Pacific Square, Maroubra. Easy parking, great and friendly service. This is my local.

Really great service and good products. I sometimes buy the marinated meats and the staff are really great and always patiently answer questions I have about allergens. My wife is severely allergic to dairy so this gives us great peace of mind.Thanks guys
