We chose Englehart to build two houses for us after demolishing our family home. We chose Englehart because of their reputation for excellence and they did not disappoint. We also chose Englehart because we wanted to build with a reputable company that we would be able to rely on until completion. All I can say is that our houses are exceptional in every way. They really have the 'wow' factor and we can not be more excited about our dream homes. Robbie Lamont was absolutely brilliant the whole way through, supporting us at all times, always taking and responding to calls promptly, responding with care and attention to every question we had. Gerald, our site manager is a perfectionist and takes incredible care to manage every little detail of the building process and we were very fortunate to have him manage our project. We built through covid and Englehart managed everything so well in such a difficult season. I always say the litmus test is would we build with Englehart again, and the answer is a resounding yes! We would recommend Englehart to anyone, and my brother and his wife have already made the decision to build with Englehart.

The team at Englehart Homes were very professional. It was helpful having their showroom to help visualise the finished product. Thats why i choose them to build two houses at the same time. And also the staffs have responded quickly to any correspondence, and any issues sorted quickly big thanks for Robbie and Evelyne. From the first meeting it was a really happy co-operation experience including the site check, sketch design, all the contract documentations, building construction through to handover, I deeply feel that your staff were so enthusiastic and professional.In 2020, the Coronavirus broke out all over the world, which threatened the health to people and affected the working environment to people in all the countries. Despite such circumstance, your company still guaranteed the construction progress and timing which was a hard won achievement.Although based overseas through the videos and photos, I have seen my dream house being built with meticulous design and excellent workmanship. I engaged Englehart Homes to construct my new dream house and they have absolutely delivered the job to the highest quality. What really amazes me is Englehart delivery team's professionalism and quick responsiveness when unexpected issues occurred on site. Constructing a new house through COVID is not an easy task and we walked into few supplier shortage issues, but Engleharthome is able to work around those unexpected calls from suppliers and still provide the best alternatives to meet our original design intent. I think that's something that truly separates Engleharthomes from other builders. Unexpected things will occur, but they are always on the client's side, looking after the client and they are effective in identifying work arounds. We also encountered some complicated council coordination during the build. Englehart's team took on the challenge and was able to resolve those council comments very quickly and effectively. I would highly recommend Engleharthome's service to anyone who is seriously thinking about building their next dream house. It's been a great ride.

Don't bother if you want a dual occ.Ron Englehart has a strong name in the building game with a lot of respect but his company let me down badly . They cost me 12 months and several thousand dollars to achieve nothing on my project. What advice I managed to extract from them was incorrect. I now have my Town Planning approval in line with my original briefWhat a sorry expensive and disappointing messPS: Ron rang me to ask if I would tone down my views, have a think about that . Several years later my job is done in accordance with the design his lot said was impossible . I'm still waiting for my re fund!

Great custom builders. Had opportunity to meet with Ron and it was great to see the CEO of such a large organisation getting involved in so much detail. Definitely recommend Englehart not just for great homes but also the after sales support we got.

The result is good. I was not happy for time delayed，but before I went to englehart homes I have visited other two customised house build companies，they were too slow to gave quotes and didn't give any professional advice to my designwork. I‘m grateful for Vincent Nally for gave a professional advice when I visited Englehart display house，he told me the big mistakes on my floorplan，it’s worth to let them to do redesign. And my electrician said 2 years is the normal time to build a customised house in Australia，especially I drew the outside looking and inside structure，and picked all materials on my own. Finally I got what I wanted，my family love this new home. We moved in one month ago，the quality is good. I recommend the construction manager Mark Mancuso，he is very professional adjusted all details to perfect.

As a prospective client of Englehart Homes we proceeded with caution as you hear a lot of horror stories in the building game. We wanted to build a custom home that would be our family home and raise our young family. After a year of now living in our custom home designed and built by Englehart, I can highly recommend this company. Yes, they are a little pricey however in the end, you will have a quality home minus the headaches.

They were able to convert our vision into a high quality house which perfectly accommodates our needs and at the same time minimized the inherent problems and maximized the inherent advantages of a steeply sloping site. The workmanship and finishes are first class and we could not be happier with the result. The tradesmen used were excellent.

I should've listened to Chris Sallman's review and stayed away from Englehart for dual occupancy. Similar thing happened to me.Signed up to preliminary agreement for dual occupancy design and construction based on development manager's recommendations for my budget. The preliminary agreement says sketch plans and elevations are no charge and that the payment forms part of estimate price towards the building contract. What they don't tell you is they will try to keep it all if you don't go ahead.Took 6 months for draft plans and an estimate. Something that should've taken 5 weeks according to their process. 1 month delay for the external surveyor to come out due to covid restrictions but 1 month for the drawings and 4 months for the estimate which were in house.Estimate came back 200K over what I was told was an achievable budget so I cancelled the agreement and asked for a refund. They said they spent 10k on my estimate (something other builders only charge 4K for) and there would be no refund. I asked for a breakdown of the costs and received a 3 line breakdown from the operations manager and no replies after that.I had to raise a case with dbdrv to get a response from them and now it looks like I'll have to go to vcat for them to prove that their costs were reasonable and not because my first estimate was incorrectly done at the wrong specs or because I was charged for drawings which I shouldn't have been.My agreement was with Englehart for Lucas Morris build and specs. They are owned by the same company. Seems the staff don't care after Porter Davis acquired them.
