The school is amazing and encourages the development of young children which transforms them into incredible young adults.

Bacchus Marsh Grammar taught me that life is unfair and not everyone deserves your kindness. Throughout the year, I was bullied and constantly harassed and teachers did close to nothing. Some even added to the problem. I can honestly say that almost everyone I made friends with, or know, has experienced some form of bullying or harassment at Bacchus Marsh Grammar. The most support they’d be willing to give is counselling sessions, which in fact does not always fix a situation.A vast majority of teachers do choose favourites, and if you’re not one of their favourites then expect classes to be horrible. P.E teachers especially, favouring the “sporty” and “athletic” kids no matter the amount of effort put in.Subjects are also a bit of a questionable matter. With there being “CCT” (creative and critical thinking) as a subject rather than the usual health, it’s quite weird. They don’t offer a large variety of subjects, sticking to one elective per semester from year 7-8. This limits students exposure to different creative outlets, which makes them then feel overwhelmed when the huge list of VCE/year 9 subjects comes out.The school isn’t all bad, I met some amazing people who i still talk to, but there’s so much room for improvement. Don’t get me wrong, Bacchus Marsh Grammar has great resources and classrooms, but the behaviour needs to change.Bacchus Marsh Grammar made me contemplate myself as a person, because of how everything was. I made a school change and I realised that it was not in fact me, but the school. I no longer get regular panic attacks over school work, or contemplate going to school. I feel comfortable talking to teachers, and trust them to give me honest advice on how i’m doing.Parents please do your research before sending your children to any schools. See what’s better for them, rather than what you’ve heard. Schools make the biggest difference, and do matter.

Bacchus Marsh is a school that has been totally taken over by the radical left as it's core ideology. Everything from the promotion of the LGTB agenda, to critical race theory. Every class from English to History is interwoven with state endorsed propaganda promoting a culture of guilt and self hate. The school once had leadership governed by a religious belief system but this was sold out for 33 pieces of silver without the consent of the school community by a leader who is focussed exclusively on profit and growth and to hell with the kids. The downward spiral has been evident ever since. The school has earnestly embraced the covid agenda and if you want your children afraid, emotionally subdued and isolated on a regular basis, there is no other school in Victoria that has so aggressively rolled out the build back better" agenda. The hysteria and fear promoted by the school at the highest levels has done insurmountable and unmeasurable damage to the students and the damage will continue for years to come.I attempted to raise these issues with the Principal

Not a fan of this school. More interested in money than the students. Their management of bullying issues is not as per what is on the web site. Took both my kids out., Best thing we did. Both flourishing elsewhere.

I strongly recommend BMG to anyone wanting a school that provides a safe environment for its students - physically, socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually. Our 3 sons have attended the school for 4 years - in that time they have flourished not only in their learning but as human beings. The school has proven itself by handling any issues that have arisen in a calm, reasoned, professional, timely, competent, fair and consistent manner. The teachers are absolutely first rate and my children often comment when I pick them up after school how much they like and respect their teachers. The teachers have demonstrated enormous commitment and dedication in their work - meeting each of my children's unique needs, making alterations when needed, and being in tune with them and their needs. Teachers are responsive, reliable, caring, professional and in general of the highest standard. My boys also feel respected and heard. They have made friends with beautiful kids and formed solid secure healthy friendships with likeminded students.Students are expected to meet standards of dress, behaviour and conduct. My boys know what is expected of them and we have found the overall standard of students both at the school and outside to be exceptional. The school overall has a belief in the behaviour that you walk past is the standard you accept." If you are wanting a school where misbehaving

There is no string of words to express my disappointment with this so-called high society" school. After encountering the supposed supreme school I already noticed an incredibly apparent red flag. The appearance of the grass showed that it was not as cared for as the price for even attending the school would suggest. Upon glaring at it a bit more the idea presented itself that the grass had gone close to rotten and it had been cut into uneven lengths. Already the school was showing its lack of care towards the grass and my curiosity for taste took over. I was always taught by the council of grass eaters to never judge a blade by its state and only taste can provide a good answer to your curiosities and when I chose to dine in on this grass I was met with pain. As soon as that poison landed itself against my taste buds I was met with a foul curse
