My husband & I have purchased many items from Silvan Timber over a long period & we wish to thank the staff for their expert advice & friendly manner. We also find the prices to be very competitive.

Be the first to review? I am sure I already reviewed this site. The SIlvan TImber site has a pricelist, but if you go there to purchase timber the prices you are charged are quite different. (I will not be specific as I will refer this to consumer association) I travelled a considerable distance to purchase treated pine items from Silvan Timber, and the price I was charged was significantly different from what appears on their website. I did mention that I thought there was a discrepancy and was told I'd mistaken the sizing of the items in question.Upon checking later, I was not mistaken and have no recourse as despite spending ~$100 no invoice/receipt was provided (this confilcts the requirements to provide a tax invoice for any purchase >$30)This business is deceptively publishing pricing on its website and then charging totally differently when customers purchase. This is an offence under Victorian law and I trust that this time my review will not be deleted, Screenshots are being taken and I will be happy to endeavoour to disclose any further obfuscation of negative reviews by the Google Plus servicePS. Google plus is listing this website as NSW, the 03 phone number, postcode 3795 and my experience indicate it is clearly located in Silvan, VICTORIA, Australia.

Very, very happy with Silvan Timber! Gembrook Riding Club purchased 210m of hardwood for baseboards around the GRC arena. Andrew provided excellent service and answered lots of questions, and went to the effort of finding the right screws, drill bits and drivers for us. Silvan stored the timber over the Christmas break for us until we we ready to install it. Delivery was on time and with a smile. All at a good price. Would happily buy there again. Thank you Silvan!

Excellent selection of treated pine posts, I also found everything I needed for fencing at reasonable prices, definitely will be back.

Great supply, prices and customer service

I would like to thank Andrew and Suellen, for their prompt, efficient and timely service providing me with all my fencing needs, they made the process swift and enjoyable, I highly recommend their services to anyone with timber needs, we shall most certainly be using them again in the future.
