Attended a wedding at the location. Beautiful scenery and views, pretty good setup with the function room. Owner was a bit of a (Makita, Stanley, hammer ect) tried to say how to lay things out after the bride had decided how she wanted stuff, took it upon himself to change it but was changed back to how bride wanted later. He was quite rude about the running of the bar, instead of being able to use paypass or your card he told you that you were getting $50 or better out because he wasn't doing card sales. When the weddings $3000 tab started in 30 minutes anyway?Food was alright, a few people who aren't into exotic foods went hungry for the event but that's not all dunes fault.

Jeff says 'as far as paid camping goes, it's a 10/10'. Jeff usually only camps in free sites. I loved it. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. The facilities were tremendous, and the view from the site is lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Best hostel ever, professional kitchen, 24hrs really hot water, function room with TV, Table tennis, snooker, coffee machine, 20 dollars/per night for bed and 15 for camping, really good price compared with others. Have a small path backyard straightly down to beach, quiet and good scenery. And what's more important is that the owners, David and Natasha, are reeeeally nice people, always helpful and enthusiastic.

$15 per person but it comes with laundry facilities, excellent wi-fi, a huge kitchen, clean bathrooms, an indoor area with TV, and beach access. Definitely worth paying to stay here.

Unfortunetly a very unsatisfactory experience. Booked our wedding here 1 year in advance, received an email 6 months later stating the venue had been sold and they were to be renovating at the time of our wedding so would have to cancel our wedding and return our deposit. We were never informed of the venue being up for sale and were unable to book another venue in the byron region for the same date due to late notice. Poor communication during whole process.

We held a Senior Executive 2 day corporate event at The Beach House East Coast in November 2020 and it was a huge success. The venue was incredible, close to the beach, and provided the perfect environment for collaboration. The service from the team was helpful and flexible, and the event catering was the best the team have experienced - local, fresh and delicious. Our Executive Team are looking forward to coming back.

I have stayed here for a few weeks now,If you want to watch the whales migrating north, and dolphins jumping through the waves from your bed, you should book now. Since being here I've seen close to 100 whales, the view from the camp is straight over the ocean and only a very short walk to the beach, which is nice and peaceful, and great views.I noticed a review of distress below...I cannot relate to that by any means, I assume it was the group of guys that stayed recently..They beeped their horns in a display of juvenile testosterone when leaving..I can't relate to their experience here. There's plenty of space to relax with free WiFi, table tennis and free pool, beautiful views and very welcoming and homely owners, hence such a long stay here, its great. If you stay you'd love the peacefulness by the ocean, and only a short distance to woolworths and other retail shops like Kmart and Harvey Norman etc, and just a 30 minute drive to Byron bay.Highly recommended place to just relax and feel very welcomed

Stay away. If you enjoy being abused by the alcoholic owner - David, then this is your campground. We stayed for the weekend and never again, he would barge into the kitchen and accuse of us stealing cutlery, accuse of us breaking into the cupboards which was clearly marked communal and not locked. He was very scary, clearly has some issues he needs to work out and probably shouldn't be dealing with guests. Came to the point where we were scared To go to sleep at night - really unfortunate for his lovely wife. Can't help but think we dodged a major bullet by nearly booking our wedding here. What a disaster that would have been.

Love this place so much!! The textured walls, rustic wall lights and jute pendants and the entire layout is just so cool!
