This place serves some of the best tacos I’ve eaten. The moment you enter the restaurant, you’re transported to some of the most Mexican things you’d expect.Their menu is small, to be honest; but their offerings are more than sufficient. We tried all but their zucchini tacos. My favourites would include their beef steak, fish, and chicken.It’s on the premium side of pricing, so don’t expect to have a cheap meal. But with the quality of food that comes out, you’ll be more than satisfied.

Great food, everything we tried was delicious. Friendly staff. Cozy environment with seating close together. Worth a visit as there isn’t anything like it in the west.

Amazing Taco place that makes there own tacos in-house. You probably can’t get closer to more original Mexican food in Adelaide than this. Yummy tacos and a great selection of Mescal and Tequila. Definitely a place to highly recommend. Checkout there share menu for two it has a great selection of dishes.

Excellent service. Fun and charming place and the food was excellent. They do a feed me menu. Tacos were all great but I especially loved the tortilla soup for something different. Bustling small place definitely recommend to book but very cool decorations and delicious Margheritas. They also had a lot of other traditional Mexican liquor I will have to return to try. Huge selection of tequilas. So glad to see such an establishment livening up the Port.

If you want to eat authentic and delicious Mexican food, this is the right place to go. Wonderful experience here. The place is beautiful, with authentic and traditional Mexican decorations that creates a better environment, made me feel like home!. Also, all staff were so nice and kind at all time, very professional. Food is delicious, everything tastes so good. I highly recommend sopa de tortilla (tortilla soup), taco de cachete de res (beef cheek taco) with three chilli sauce, cochinita pibil taco as well and for dessert impossible cake. For drinks they have a wide variety with Mexican beers ( I recommend Negra Modelo), tequila, mezcal, margaritas.

Incredible, delicious food and the service is outstanding. A must try and valuable addition to the Port Adelaide region.The food is always fresh and very tasty, I love taking myself on a date to this humble little establishment. I would suggest booking ahead if you want a bigger table. Don't forget to try the Cauliflower Tacos and the Margaritas ❤

If your looking for a quick but homemade meal this is they place you wanna go!Got seated immediately after being a walk in, ordered drinks and food and and got starters within 5-10 minutes and finished the meal after 35 minutes! The service was extremely good and workers are polite, loved how you could see them making their dough!

Absolutely loved it. Never had authentic Mexican food like this before and was a bubbly, vibrant environment. Staff also warm and lovely, reasonable prices also. Highly recommend.

Mexican food is one of our favorite dish and tried diff mexican dish in diff countries. The food in La Popular Taqueria is nice, though portion is small. Been here 3 times and last month we enjoyed the margarita. The service is a bit slow better order even before finishing a small portion of food. And the restaurant is so tight.
