At short notice we were able to hold a function there. Good facilities bit of a walk to the loo but not too bad.

Inverell Pioneer Village
We love Australian History, and this Village has to be the BEST we have been to. Meet by a Happy caretaker and her husbands. Volunteers happy to chat and tell about restoration projects going on. Twenty plus buildings to explore, we spent 2.5 hours, it could easily be a day (take a picnic). Congratulations to the Chairman and his Team.

Pet friendly. Lovely place and great people who look after it. We had a dig around, cheap as $10. Half hour we and found 11 sapphires. Didn't expect that, so we were very happy. And there is so much to look at. Nice big pond and plenty of seats in the shade.

An amazing visit to this wonderful step back into our history. The displays were well planned and it is mind-blowing to see what they have displayed. Just one bit of advice - allow yourself at least four hours to take everything in. Denise and Geoff are the perfect hosts.
