I am very happy with the landscaping of Made Rustic Designs. Ben really listened to what we wanted and helped develop our ideas. The plants are lovely and the lights are amazing (a must do if you’re considering them). Ben and his team were very professional and had good communication along the way. Highly recommend!

Ben created a lovely tropical garden for us at our home in Broadbeach Waters on the Goldcoast. I especially loved the garden lights. The garden looks beautiful day and night. Ben provided us with a consultancy on the development of our ideas for our yard and the whole property. The landscape idea and design concept were what we needed.My wife and I have now agree on a way forward. And we have avoided making some simple mistakes.Even using one of Ben’s ideas, and avoiding mistakes is well worth the cost of a consultation.We live in a semi tropical area in the far north coast of New South Wales, so creating and styling the exterior of our home, allows us to feel like spending more time out there. The outside is now as inviting as our inside.We had spent much time developing the inside of our home, but little thought has gone into our yard. Until now.We look forward to spending more time outside, through the shared design that Ben has provided.For exampleBen provide us with an idea of using Pavers instead of gravel over the space that council required to be left free from structures. This will give the backyard a better visual flow in keeping with the rest of the area.Ben listened to our ideas and suggested we put the Lilly Lilly’s from the side of the house and place them at the front of the property. This created a consistency of planting and a uniformity in presentation.We can then remove the tucker type trees later if necessary. And Removing the Lilly Pillies from the side of the property will also make the Pandanas plants pop.Ben’s approach of re-organising existing structures and plants was a cost effective solution by utilising what we had.One of Ben’s attributes is that he is a great listener. He brought our ideas along in the process of exploration and then the concept of our yard. He created a way to discuss both our ideas using Landscape design and then he produced a shared vision. He basically developed our ideas into a coherent model that we both agree on.It’s obvious that Ben is passionate about Exterior design consultancy.We realise that Exteriors are as important or maybe more important than interior design. Our outside now feels inviting. We hope to spend as much time outside as in , now that it has been planned with style.RegardsJohn and Mary.
