I shop at all op shops all over Melbourne and this my closest one to my home. It's so disappointing each time I go in there how nasty the manager/supervisers are to the other volunteers.The pricing is not clear and they will not give you wrapping or a box for large items purchased/breakables.Never had this treatment at any other store ..it's quite disheartening to see this manner in the stores.Every volunteer should be treated with kindness, as should all people

Long time shopper, first time poster about one of my favorite op shops. Most staff and the volunteers are super friendly. Really like the changes in the shop. Doesn't look as dated and messy as it has in the past. I really liked the front windows for Melbourne spring carnival. . The new manager, seems like she knows that she is doing and is super helpful when I've asked questions or looking for something in particular. Keep up the good work, only improvement, I agree with some of the other reviews, some of the stock has been expensive, but that seems to be changing slowly.

Overpriced, poor quality items. Staff rude to well behaved children who were actually tidying mess. Won't be donating or shopping her again. Disappointing considering other Vinnies stores

Yesterday at Vinnies, i notice Lorena (sp?), the manager; who somehow finds time to remember my daughters names always and the things that matter.She was speaking with management in the store. The man who liked to be heard was telling her how to do things. (I think she's been making that store work for over 10 years. she could most probably tell them a thing or two, but she is polite}They didn't look like management, i initially thought they were from an advertising agency, looks can be deceiving. I watched from a distance and didn't hear their conversation but the body language of the taller man read clearly. His demeanour was bossy and his tone condescending,I was parked up the street and left to put my purchases in my car, as i opened my back seat passenger door, i noticed them coming up the street. One man was silent while the other bragged to the woman who indulged his ego, very unflattering to watch. Back stabbing, I thought it went out with the 80's along with couch casting... anyway. I wanted to state that as a long term loyal customer to the store, i was really surprised by the immature behaviour i observed and felt like i'd been transported to the girls toilet in high school. Really Vinnies Management ?? - Grow up! How two faced! The last thing as a customer i want to hear ,after donating/ spending $100 in your store and on the cause, is condescending gossip.. Especially from the management team!.You should be rewarding that woman and her team. i think they do a fantastic job and i doubt they need your input {just quietly}.When the restrictions were on locals complained about having to stay home. Everyone including myself could not wait for Vinnies to reopen Lorena and her team are one of our local treasures, to be respected at all times - management should be grateful for their genuine service to the community!I would suggest Zoom meetings in future your presence Yesterday ruined the vibe in our always welcoming shop!Yours in disgust and Thanks for reading.

This op shop has generally improved significantly with new management. Was shocked to see multiple golliwogs for sale just recently. Something I would not expect in inner Melbourne. It's well established that they are considered racist. I like to believe it was a mistake from a volunteer because it is otherwise inexcusable.Visited again months later and more golliwogs for sale. There is no excuse for racism. Until they stop selling golliwogs I have to give 1 star regardless of the good customer service and cleaned up space of recent times.

I come here all the time and the people are always friendly. The one dollar rack always has some hidden gems, and the bric a brac is nicely displayed. Also appreciate it being right next to the train station. Would recommend a visit.

Awesome prices, awesome staff. Good selection of toys, and clothing :) the red head lady was really helpful on Saturday and went out of her way for me. I will definitely be returning back this weekend for more bargains! Keep up the good work guys :)
