I waa a client of this firm for approximately two years. The initial set up and planning was fine and I took out financial products and insurance products. The firm took hefty commissions and fees from this. However the performance waa poor and when I asked questions they became defensive even aggressive. Look elsewhere is my advice.

Our experience with these people was initially positive but quickly deteriorated as I built a larger portfolio. They charged us a monthly advisor fee on our super despite a 100% asset allocation to managed funds with CFS with their own internal fees. The advisor fees were charged monthly but we only had very infrequent contact with FB wealth. Our super underperformed the market as a result. Became defensive when questioned about fees and commissions. I recommend looking elsewhere such as a ‘fee for service’ advisor or shop around for a ‘fixed fee’ arrangement. There’s really no good reason for these guys to charge a monthly advisor fee for your super if they allocate it to a managed fund and it will eat into your portfolio in the long term.
