EB Games - Chirnside Park

bought a game here and they forgot to put the disk in the freaking case.

Listed as open til 9:30pm Friday and turned up to a closed store at 6pm

I went to pickup a click and collect order this morning and was waiting for at least 15 minutes for the staff to serve me after making eye contact with me multiple times. The guy working even came to place a click and collect order on the table where they are given to customers and pointed at the click and collect sign as if to say they were only doing click and collect obviously. Being aware of this I had already placed a click and collect order and instead of him asking if I had an order he assumed I didn’t straight away for whatever reason. So I had to call the store even though I was standing outside it to let him know that I was here to pickup an order. He then realised that I had been waiting for the click and collect order whilst they were preparing other orders and didn’t even apologise for the wait. It’s not the biggest deal in the world obviously but when employees don’t give you the time of day it makes you never want to visit that store again.

Came to EB at 4:30 and the employees had closed the store and were already counting the till even though they close at 5pm ??? The employee said “sorry we’re closing early today” and just left me and my partner. Pretty rude, bad customer service and as a retail worker myself I’m pretty sure you’re not meant to close the till until closing time LOL. Disappointing because we already knew what we were getting and it would of been a quick sale.

Went in today and I usually have a great experience here with all the staff. Never once had an issue. I come in today and find one of the younger females being abused at, in front of customers by what seemed like a higher up which is extremely unprofessional and plain rude. Disappointing to see such behaviour from this company. Poor younger man at the counter having to pick up the slack serving everyone

Great Customer service! The staff are so kind and helpful and the shop pretty much has anything gaming in it, like the latest consoles, games, and accessories.

Went into EB games to look at buying a number of items that I'd come across during my online searches of the website. At first Dale was welcoming, I asked to look at the Crash team racing stuff I had seen on the site and he pointed me in the right direction. I was then having a closer look at the Neo Cortex mug which I'd seen on the website for $5 but was listed on the box as 28. Carefully opened it up to have a closer look because I was on the fence about getting it. That's when Dale approached me and in a very unpleasant and unnecessarily rude in the way that Dale demanded that I ask before opening a mug box. Immediately felt unwelcome and wanted to get out of there ASAP. Purchased a different mug I was already holding and planning on buying as I sure as heck didn't want to make another trip out here again. The most disappointing customer service interaction I've had in the past few months. In a company where I've always felt welcome and respected. It seemed like a very pedantic and unprofessional reaction. And I'm just curious as to whether treating customers like that is common practice. Have bucket loads of empathy because it is such a trying time. But this made my experience really unpleasant and I hope he gets the training, perspective and feedback he needs.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. I walked into an empty store and I can see why. I walked in with my children this afternoon as we had to find a gift for a friend and my eldest wanted to spend some pocket money which I might add was a lot more than the average $20. The young man behind the desk told my 3yr old not to touch anything. I apologized he then proceeded to tell my eldest off for picking up a game to read the back. I was then told my children were social unacceptable because they are children and stick their hands in their mouths and touch things. Eb games might aswell be online store only if we are unable to pick up a game to read the description. Just disgusting in my opinion

I couldn’t recommend highly enough to go somewhere else for your gaming needs. Under skilled management who are extremely rude when it comes to warranties. To become a manager should require training and communication skills.
