Was referred to these guys by my electrician. And they were so professional and accomodating to what we needed. Got us up and running in 2 days. Phenomenal effort and price wise very pleased. For any pump and motor needs go see them.

Disappointing and will not be back. Had a motor on our mixer blow and looked around online for a replacement and found replacements for around $250 (mixer was only $400 new). Wanted to see what the local guys had so I called Kawana Rewinds. They said they had what I needed and told me it'd cost at worst case $200. I then asked what time they close (it was friday 21st DEC and a lot of businesses close early for christmas) they told me it was pretty quiet so they will probably close early, they also said they had the unit I needed in stock and could have it ready today. When I got there they said to give them 30mins as the front plate needed to be changed and a plug put on. I asked if I could pay & have someone pick it up for me, they said I could pay over the phone when it was done so I left it with them and headed back to my warehouse. Kawana Rewinds then called me a little over 1 hour later to say it was ready to go and the price is around $600!!??? what the?? how did it go from worse case $200" to $600?? Their reason was that I seemed desperate to have it done that day and they bent over backwards for me. They said they had to charge me for 2 hours labour $160 (it had only been a hour since I was there when they called with their ridiculous price so how they could have done 2 hrs of labour on it is beyond me!!) + Plug $80 plus some lead. At no stage was I given any indication that the price was changed from the 'worst case $200' that they told me on the phone. I could have bought a whole new mixer and put some change in my pocket for what this motor ended up costing! Very disappointed

Kawana Rewinds brought my Future Wave Pool Pump Energy Saver back to life, I bought this unit off them over 10 years ago and the team fixed the unit, gave it some really good upgrades and it works better than ever...the adjustable energy dial works a treat! Thanks for the great after sales support, even after such a long time!! Just shows they made these things to last! and the service they offer is outstanding!
