Sunbus

If I can give 0 star I give it to them.My drivers on the bus number 130 at 13:37 at cairns hospital station the 18/08/22 didn’t stop to my station. I run to the door of the bus I look at me and still don’t open the door and move.Usually this bus is everyday late minimum 5 minute and sometime 15 minute, result 1/2 of the time I’m late at work because the bad driver of this company, and today I write this message because of this, I got a car soon Thanks god because Sunbus company are really bad

Extremely rude drivers!, cash only no cards very outdated system buses always late. The fleet of buses is very old and dirty. I pray one day North Qld will get a company like Transit Systems or other quality operator to take over the public transport contract. We deserve better than this disgraceful Sunbus. Keep complaining to translink via online form or phone to get them booted.

One of the worst bus services ever! I use the bus service to get to work each and not only do they not show up the drivers ignore you when you have your hand held out for them to stop! Not reliable at all!

If I could give them a 0 star rating I would but unable too. Where to start, so many of the bus driving are so rude. I can't count how many times I've gotten on the bus with my kids and out pram and the bus driver has taken off before I can even lock the pram and sit down safely. Resulting in me, my toddler and baby nearly face planting into the middle isle or row in front of us. So many of the buses park far away front the platform, leaving a huge gap making it hard for elderly people to get on and off safely or people like myself using a pram. Also alot of the buses are not very clean or hygienic.

Customer service most unhelpful. I have been trying to apply for bus passes for 4 hours. The online form is not letting me submit it Because supposedly the name of the bus company is invalid. No human has been willing to help me or return a call they said they would return. If there was another bus operator available, they would loose my business for sure.

When things are going great nothing needs to be said. The app is great, the drivers are fantastic, actually great people.What is super annoying is when a service is running late. There is nothing in the app to keep you informed, nobody answers the phone when you call. It wouldn't be hard to pass a message to the other drivers to inform waiting passengers.Today the 150 0744 service to Gordonvale failed to show at Mt Sheridan. The 9 school kids who were waiting ended up going home either for a lift or a day at home. Myself and anyone else going to work now need to find other means like uber etc

on the 22 of may at 5:30pm on a bus going from the city to raintrees..I was told by a sun bus driver I am not allowed to use my disability pension card on a digital wallet and you need a physical one.Even after saying to the bus driver I was able to provide proof it’s indeed a original digital disability pension card on my Centrelink app and I don’t have the physical one because Centrelink hasn’t sent one and only gave me one on the app… I don’t mind paying extra for the fare or what not.it’s just contradicting to why Centrelink have put it on the app and I could imagine it would be very inconvenient for other disability pension card holders who may not be able to pay the full fare everytime.

The buses in Nepal are more reliable, and less dangerous, than than this nonsense transportation outfit. Buses arrive when they feel like it or not at all. To get from Yorkeys Knob to Smithfield by eight in the morning, you have to catch the bus all the way to the city and then get another from there to Smithfield. This means leaving Yorkeys at six am. Amazing. You have to use actual money to ride, so there’s always a mad scramble for change if you have to catch the bus unexpectedly. Drivers don’t like it when you give them a twenty dollar note, but it’s the smallest to ATM will give you, so what to do? Some drivers drive like they hate the bus and the passengers, or are participating in a race we are not aware of. The big bus stations are horrifically frightening at night, so be warned. Even the one in the city feels menacing. There’s some sort of ticket checking staff getting around on the buses now, who are all very nice, but employing security guards would be a better idea. No one wants to be catching the bus home from work and be threatened with a beating if you don’t hand over four dollars in charge and a five year old phone. On a positive note, some drivers are lovely and the buses have good aircon. I have no choice but to catch buses currently, otherwise I wouldn’t put up with these shenanigans.

Usually the service is pretty decent, but, Im giving making this comment because I'm sick of these drivers who for some reason, pull off quickly not giving a person the chance to get seated. I've almost fell a few times, because if this. Today being the last straw. Please fgs the drivers need to be more aware of their passenger's. For those of us who depend on public transport, this is unacceptable.
