Outback Jacks
We used to love the food at Outback Jacks Currumbine but lately it’s gone downhill. We went there on Saturday night and I ordered a $48 Eye Fillet steak which was sour and bitter and so putrid. It was the most disgusting tasting steak I’ve ever had. I asked the wait staff if they marinated the steak in anything and they said no it could be the blood that it’s soaked in while vacuum pre packed. I was worried I was going to be sick from it.Another time the steak tasted like it had been frozen and was tasteless and dry.They don’t add any salt or seasoning while cooking the steak and the serving of sauce is almost a joke at $3.50.Another time we were turned away at 8:15pm on a Saturday night saying that the kitchen was closed.I don’t think I’ll be going back in a hurry.Very disappointing.

Best streak & it was cooked how we wanted Fantastic, great servings.fantastic service from Josh & he looked after us great, plus made our night more enjoyable & fun. The young guy at the front till who served us at the end. He was great as well.Highly recommend coming here & you have a great employee(Josh)

In a strange way, I wanted to complain about this place. I don’t know why, I think it may have been the customers around me that appeared to be upset that influenced my opinion. But in the end, it was all pretty good. Nothing great. But nothing to really complain about.Was asked to sit at a table that was dirty, still had plates and empty beer bottles on it, no big deal, just told the wait staff and sat at another table.Ordered the game platter. Have mixed feelings. I appreciate there’s 6 different meats to cut and prepare but for $20 I was expecting a bigger quantity. They all tasted very much the same.Had the premium rib eye off the bone for mains. Medium rare with chips and mushroom sauce. Not enough sauce, But was tasty and cooked as requested.Kids had fish and chips and cheeseburger , they were ok apparentlyWife had porterhouse which was over cooked but otherwise nice . Baked potato was average.Both members of staff that we dealt with were very friendly , efficient, and professional.The venue itself needs a good clean

Outback Jacks
Our First visit to Outback Jacks, we found the food to be delicious and the staff are very friendly, our waiter was especially friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu including ingredients and availability of certain items on the menu. Lots of parking in this area and clean toilets inside the restaurant. Will definitely visit again, thank you Outback Jacks Currambine.

Although the service was great, we were quite shocked and the decreased quality of the food. We've been to both the Currambine (our local) and Northbridge restaurants and always loved it but the menu has reduced dramatically and the food served was not worth the price asked.

Well got to say, after being to “Outback Jacks Whitfords” many many moons ago and hating it, was very wary of going to Outback Jacks Currumbine with my son who regularly dines there. Have to say was pleasantly surprised as our meal was awesome!Their menu has a wide variety of food with surprisingly a huge amount of culinary choices with every type of meat: Steak, Crocodile, Kangaroo, Emu and Buffalo. I do have to compliment the chef on his culinary masterpiece with the “Breast is Best” Succulent Chicken Breast marinated in Olive Oil and Bush Pepper Seasoning. Served with a creamy mushrooms and garlic sauce topped with salad and fries. Absolutely cooked to perfection! Two in our party ordered the Steak Burger with Pineapple which was delicious and highly recommended. The Chicken Parmi had a definite thumbs up from my 17 yr old daughter. I must say presentation also plays an important part which I felt lacked a little on this dish. Visual detail before you even have a bite is as important.The Caesar Salad was very, very nice. Ordered with Prawns which I’d never tried before and would definitely look at ordering that dish again.Desserts were average. Sticky Date was a tad doughy. Brownie was good.One thing I must say at this point, hopefully it’s taken as constructive criticism, staff should make diners aware of items not available on the night prior to returning to take orders. This is purely to avoid appointment for all involved.The place itself has an awesome ambiance, boasts a beautiful venue and magnificent for families especially younger families due to the large play area which is clearly visible from the dining area.Some items on the menu I personally thought were expensive but at the end of the day as the saying goes You get what you pay for”.Drinks came out almost straightaway too. Food didn’t seem to take long at all.Have to add to this review that the staff were pretty awesome too. I’d like to compliment the sweet

2 stars purely for the service as our waiter was polite and attentive. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our meals. Mashed potato tasted old and like it was re-warmed, gross texture to it. Garlic sauce? No garlic taste to it. Ribs were a small serving for the price and the rib sauce was sour and tasted like vinegar. Overall quite underwhelmed. For the money we paid, it definitely wasn't worth it.

Outback Jacks was a choice by my kids. Never had dinner there so decided to give it a go…We managed to get a nice table, on a not to busy night. Table and venue was clean and tidy. Staff was very friendly. We were checked on by 3 different staff members just to make sure we were ok.Drinks came out first and quick. The wine we ordered was perfect. Lovely Moscato.Steak was cooked perfectly. Chips was hot and crispy. We can recommend the Outback Jacks.
