A truly woeful experience. Elegant Media is the definition of overpromise, underdeliver.They have mishandled my project at every step. The most generous interpretation would be incompetence, the most likely is dishonesty and greed.I would strongly encourage anyone considering their services to run for the hills.Edit: It has come to my attention that Elegant Media coerces clients to remove negative reviews. I found them easy to work with and they’re honest and upfront with what’s included in their service. Initially I found the pricing options were somewhat confusing as well as inclusions. I’d recommend any potential customers to have an in-depth discussion about all the inclusions with their various service types.As I’ve spoken with a number of similar companies before engaging with Elegant Media, I can say their pricing is competitive and they’ve very responsive and easy to work with. They have a distributed working team, but I worked with the project management team in Australia. This is similar to what other companies offered as well. Only one other company could guarantee a total local team, but it came with a 5x higher cost.The team is talented and dedicated. Sometimes I could only have meetings after hours and they were very accommodating with it and the odd requests here and there. Happy to see the first stage of my project being on the app store. I can recommend Elegant Media to anyone.

TL:DR - I cannot recommend anyone use Elegant Media.I was first sold on Elegant Media by a salesperson that left the organisation not long after I was introduced to my Project Manager. After several weeks, my Project Manager also left. In the initial meetings, It was explained to me that the iOS version would be developed first, then the Android version. It would also take a year to develop for a cost of $24,000The second Project Manager was good and we got along quite well. Their work was decent from a project management perspective. There were a few deadlines missed which I was happy to ignore due to the price point being very reasonable, at the time.The design stage of the app went mostly well, though in hindsight, the designs felt cheap. It felt as if they had been outsourced to a cheap designer in Ukraine or India. After the design process we moved into development. Admittedly I did ask for a change to the app design as I wanted an admin back end to be included. Originally I thought this was going to be included but being new to app development, I don’t believe this was explained to me or given as an option.After around 7 months, the second Project Manager was ‘internally promoted’ and working on fixed term projects. I was handed over to my new Project Manager who was also lovely to talk with. It was now that a lot of problems would develop.We were slowly moving into the testing phase and I was sent weekly builds to try. I communicated bugs and problems which were frequently left unresolved or were fixed quickly the day before we had a fortnightly catch up with the Project Manager. It didn’t seem there was any internal testing done on the app before it was sent to me. By October 2021 I asked the Project Manager if the app would be ready for January 2022. She assured me that it would be done before then. It wasn’t. There were frequent bugs and issues with the app persisting into 2022.In early January 2022 I decided to stop development of the app. It was taking too long and Elegant Media had taken all the money I had set aside. The cost had ballooned out to $30,000 and did not include costs which they had asked me to pay as soon as I signed on, such as the Apple Developer Account. The Project Manager offered to complete the app and get it onto the app store within the next month for a 50% discount. I declined this offer because my trust in their organisation was gone.During January 2022, I decided to conduct a second round of research on Elegant Media. I found other customers who were not happy with their work on both Google Reviews and Clutch. Some commenters indicated that Elegant Media had been in touch with them to remove their reviews. Also, I unsurprisingly found several reviews that are likely fake and/or misleading.

After 4 years of humming and harring because of app development prices, I finally did a little searching and found Elegant Media. These guys were amazing from the start understanding my vision and budget. They kept me updated daily with idea's so it really felt like I was in their developing my own app which I loved. Every little detail I wanted changed, they listened and delivered. I'm now the very proud owner of 1 Step Ahead: Music Theory. I can't say enough about the team. Thank you Elegant Media for your exceptional service and how welcome you made me feel. Highly recommend them for everything, not only if your budget is an issue!

I am happy to provide this brief review of Elegant Media who have built my web-based app fit.test that is designed to help exercise professionals (exercise physiologists, sports scientists, physiotherapists, personal trainers) to provide a premium service to their clients. Elegant Media have been excellent from start to finish in scoping and then undertaking the work for what is a complex project with literally hundreds of formulae that need to be free from errors and able to ‘talk to one another’. I have always felt that I have been kept informed as to the progress of the project and when needed, Elegant Media has provided some excellent ideas as to how to achieve outcomes. My app will go live in the next 3 months and I intend to use Elegant Media for ongoing support.

I chose Elegant Media after spending over 6 months shopping for an app developer; my first time getting an app made. Overall, the team at Elegant Media has been very good; the team are courteous, attentive and reliable. There were a couple of issues. The positives of working with Elegant Media mostly outweighed these issues. They are excellent value for money. Their communication is exemplary and suited me. For a first time app developer whose budget is of importance I would recommend Elegant Media.

Getting my app developed was a big challenge for me since my app had a unique concept and I was unsure of where to start. As a result, they emerged as my savior in my obscure situation. Their expertise in app development not only conceptualized my idea perfectly but also provided tips for improving it. A pool of highly skilled developers and designers has been nurtured at the company. They specialize in developing apps.
