Amazing steak and frites place. We had the snails, duck leg and ribeye. Perfectly cooked steak.

Pork special was absolutely perfect! The sauce was balanced really well and meat was cooked to perfection and juicy. The scallop fondue was also very good. The highlight was the entree special of sardines. Best sardines I've ever had. The wines were excellent. Great list. Highly recommend this place.

had an outstanding dinner here couple of days ago. mussels au bleu was ridiculously delicious and we ended up mopping up the sauce with frites and bread. escargot not dissimilar to my favourite france-soir, good. scallops in leek butter full of flavour and a must order. foie gras and onion soup were both pretty good. tartare was good, but felt it needed a hit of spice a la FS. pork of the day was mind blowing. ribeye was ok. finished off with an outstanding tarte tatin.

Simply AMAZING!… food not only delicious but with an indescriptible French flavour. LOVED the onion soup and the duck breast.The menu is full of amazing options. You need to come and try it yourself!!!!

Beautiful French restaurant in the heart of CamberwellBeen here a few times and the food is consistently good.We enjoyed the scallops and foie gras for starters on recommendation of our waitress. Both were first class.For mains it was medium rare eye fillet with a bernaise sauce. Superb.Also ordered the lamb blackstrap. There was a good debate about which meat was most tender the eye fillet or the blackstrap. Both were first class.Some shoestring fries and greens on the side completes a perfect dinner.Enjoyed a couple of bottles of French Cabernet Franc.Service was excellent start to finish.Highly recommended.

Franco-Belge serves delicious French food with excellent service. Flavours are beautiful, menu uncomplicated, but interesting, we loved the taste of every item we ordered, from terrine to duck breast to dessert. Hearty meals. Highly recommended!

I'm SO glad I found this delightful and delicious restaurant. I chose it to dine at for my birthday dinner last night and couldn't be more happy with my choice. It did not disappoint from the second we stepped foot inside, to the moment we left.After almost breaking out into fights for parking spaces in the adjacent car park, we eventually made it to the restaurant and was impressed right off the bat by the cute entryway, to the gorgeous interior decor, to the menu, to the friendly staff, to the food and to everything.The menu is quite varied. There are some great items to chose from in both hot and cold entrees and the main meals have a lot of options for both fish and meats and the dessert menu also has a few great options.Everyone loved their meals. The French Onion soup was divine, the salmon salad was HEAVENLY, the meats cooked perfectly, the vol-au-vent was super yum and the chocolate mousse was totally delicious and tasted home made (just missing a little bit of rum, lol).Based on how good the food was and the service and decor, we will definitely, definitely be back again and will recommend this to anyone that asks for suggestions. The only negative was the busy and tight spaced parking lot adjacent to them as it was beyond hectic, and the street parking fills up because of the movies and how the council has taken away so many parking spaces for outdoor dinning (infuriating), but if you come with plenty of time to find a spot, you'll be fine.

Excellent ambiance, service and food. Good wine and drinks list. The French onion soup is the best in Melbourne and you can dine inside or outside in the summer. Highly Recommended!
