I had some type dramas just before Christmas. I was told by an unnamed tyre shop that I needed a whole new tyre but that I would have to come back another day because they were busy.I contacted Stephan and he told me to come straight up and he would have a look.I got there expecting to have to replace my tyre but Stephan said he could fix it easily and there was no need to pay for a whole new tyre.Within ten minutes I was back on the road with a reliable fixed tyre at a fantastic price. Stephan and his team are reliable, honest, professional and efficient.This is the kind of old fashioned service that you can rely on for honesty and not be left second guessing. Fantastic customer service. Great prices.I highly recommend Top Ride.

I had the exact same experience as another here, pink slip denied due to to wiper blades needing replaced. Agreed to change the blades and he changed the entire wiper not just the blade costing over 100, when a trip to repco would have been 16. My car is a 2007 model where blades can be easily changed. Charging people $$$ when there is no need for it.

Absolutely useless!!! Paid for coolant to be flushed and filled, got charged $100 for this service, looked when I got home and the coolant was completely unchanged! Called up and was told that it was flushed and the “young” guy just forgot to fill it up? I’m not an idiot! Just went in for a service and they tried to sell me $1300 worth of problems that needed to be fixed... Do not go here! Complete rip off and they aren’t actually doing there job! Needs to be reported as it is a safety issue and almost criminal activity! I’m new to town and considering they are based in such a convenient well known location, I expected so much better... angry

I'm not keen to go here again.I picked this auto shop as it was close to home. Only 20 minutes into looking at it, they rang me with a list of things needing repair required totalling $1100. I only had the car serviced a few months ago. This was quite a shock and when I told him it was expensive and that I wanted a second opinion, he disappeared and told me he would do it for $800. How does that work? Surely he should get something like this right the first time. The lever to open the bonnet from inside the car has been broken for weeks and it was not fixed and not mentioned either over the phone or the report.I haven't been able to open it for weeks. Stefan was kind enough to call me after this review to explain that he was aware the lever was broken; I would have preferred to have the optin of getting it fixed later on and that it would be written down in the invoice...usually when a care is serviced, an obvious deficit like this would be reported. It hasn't been. I will be going elsewhere next time.

Terrible, cash grab and condescending tone. Dishonest , to make sure i change something they spend 20 min discussing if a tyre should be changed. mind u the miles on the car is low <10,000 km.When u question them about the price as its extremely expensive compared to others and the issue they note they get aggressive. the respond i got was : You're paying for convenience and you should EXPECT to have something that need to be fixed at a check up"Mind you

Great garage and Great guys. Stefan is a real gentleman and looks after his customers very well. I used to be a mechanic and know what garages get up to... Stefan is not that kind and will do his very best to help anyone. This garage is his first garage which he started on his own after working for other very well known garages. He really wants to make a difference and be there for his customers. I've used his services many time and I have always been very well looked after. The boys too are great and know their stuff... I often pop in and do odd bits there on my van or car and they are always keen to help out if they are not busy.. and speaking from my experience as an mechanic - the guys here do know what they are talking about and I can see that they go the extra mile to do every job over and above whats expected / satisfactory. It's a little disappointing to see the negative comments below, regarding a bill increasing. Cars can be a real pain in the but and are full of hidden surprises - I can tel you that for sure! often things do come up which were not quoted for. Many garages do often 'make stuff up' but Stefan is more likely to do the extra work for free than over charge somebody. There are not many honest decent people around Sydney - I've noticed from my time here but Stefan is without doubt the one of the most decent I've met.The place is open like 7 days a week and any hours they need too! What a great service. By right this garage should be packed 7 days a week - it's a hidden Gem. They have my highest respect and I recommend them to every one.

This mechanic is dishonest and I don't recommend it. He wanted to charge me AU$ 1,670 to renew my rego since he stated that my car needed to have the tyres changed, the breaks and some other things, which was strange since the car was just been serviced and there was no issues with it. As I told him that I was not going to do all that and get very upset he took away the inspection report from me and did not want to give it back. I told him I want to review it with my husband as I was at the phone with him and he refused to give it back and told me to leave the place. He got very nervous and gave back my car and did not charge to me even the AU$ 39 of the inspection (which is strange). I went to Kmart and my car passed the inspection with no issues and only paid AU$ 55, AU$ 39 for the inspection and AU$ 16 for a globe replacement. The Top Ryde mechanic was clearly being dishonest and trying to get money our of me. Not even deserve one star

I went in for a pink slip and was told it would not be signed off because of my wipers. I said yes to him changing my blades even though the blades were only changed 6 months ago and my car was serviced last month. When l went to pay it cost $103, apparently they don't change blades anymore they change the entire wind wiper arm. My car is less than 6 years old and the wipers were working fine. I realised immediately l had been ripped off but there was nothing l could do.

I had a logbook servicing performed at Top Ride Tyre & Auto recently and I'm thoroughly satisfied with their service. This service was much less than the dealership. Stephan the Manager and his staff were polite and courteous. They explained all extra costs for parts and additional recommended servicing. They stated clearly that any additional services were my choice to purchase all, some or none of the additional services & parts. Stephan went above and beyond to help with an unrelated service problem. From my experience Top Ride Tyre & Auto is a reputable business that operates with integrity. This is why I give them five stars.

Excellent service and team at top ride auto services. These guys are very professional and honest. Stephan is very helpful and understands the problem well. We have to travel quiet a bit to get our servicing done from where we live but its worth the time and money. I will definitely recommend Top ride auto services to anyone else and my friends.
