Kailee - Melbourne Doula

While my birth ultimately ended in theatre, Kailee was a valuable resource and friend throughout my pregnancy, labour and postnatal period, listening and holding a safe space for me when I was anything less than completely confident in myself or my situation. For me, our talks leading up to and after my birth were the most valuable part of the service (and one I hadn't really thought I needed). I had never felt I needed a doula in previous pregnancies and wasn't sure I would this time but reached out to Kailee on a day when I feeling uncertain and I'm glad I did. I worried that another person might upset the dynamic of my (excellent) birth team but Kailee offered balance without interfering, found the gap I had overlooked and filled it. I wish her all the best with her vocation.
